He can run with the best of them, has had multiple TD runs over 40 yards.
We have running backs to do that!

Weakness that I see is inconsistency throwing the ball.
Big surprise there.

LSU doesn't need another DT "Glorified RB" that can't hit the broad side of a barn throwing a football when the lights come on.

All the great LSU WR's need a QB that can accurately and consistently get the ball in their hands!

Kelly and Denbrock playing with fire here.

Ok. Maybe he needs to be a rb? I want someone who can throw the ball, make quick decisions, and open up the field. There are some sec defenses that would slaughter us if you can't threaten down the field, I don't care how fast he is

I’m all in on Brennan but watch the highlights. This kid hit some nice passes when he had Wr’s. Hardly Brandon Harris

Watch his film, he does all those things very well.

He has a similar arm as Brennan, throws a more consistent/better ball, & has a MUCH faster release.

I watched him a lot his freshman year and he looked super impressive. I haven’t kept up with what has happened to them since then other than they went down hill as a program since then. He is athletic af and can throw it. Having a guy that can run like him is dangerous as hell if the passing game can get going at all.

Was he going to be the ASU starter this season? Anybody know why he left ASU?

Anyone who bitches about grabbing another QB is a moron.

Yes, let’s just give Brennan the starting job without competition since he’s been here for so long.

exactly. Then if he gets injured we have nuss and that’s it lol. Depth was desperately needed regardless of the starter

“He’s waited his turn. He deserves it”.

Ever thought that he “waited his turn” because he was never good enough to get the starting job, and perpetually injured?

Sounds like he's very fast and an average passer. And we need another qb. He brings some things to the table that our other QBs dont, so whats not to like?

i would be worried if Les Miles was still here, but BK has a better track record.

ASU's program is an absolute dumpster fire right now.

1. Currently under an NCAA investigation
2. Their OC, DC, and TE coaches all resigned
3. They fired their WR and DB's coaches
4. They have the worst incoming class in the entire Pac-12
5. And a ton of players have left due to all this

Really though. Brennan has more career injuries than starts lol. Suppose we go through spring and Nuss decides to transfer. Now what? We’d be just praying for a QB to enter the portal or trotting out WRs at QB again.

One of these guys is going to have to go out and WIN the job. It won’t be given to anyone

Appears to be a “7 wins” kind of QB. He’ll looked great against weaker defenses and bad against good defenses.

32 TDS/ 13 ints for his 3 years as starter. People say he regressed a little

That is not good for a 3 yr starter.

We were worried about Brennan getting broke in half and he was bigger than this as a soph.

I am not worried one way or the other now. I will just wait to see it on the field for whoever gets the nod.

I agree that depth was needed at quarterback, but we're unlikely to get it.

Denbrock just coached a mobile quarterback at Cincinnati, and he's probably looking for the same type of quarterback to run his offense at LSU. That's not Myles Brennan.

Brennan is smart enough to see that, and I doubt he'll be at LSU for the 2022 season. It's his last shot, and he can't afford to risk it if he isn't the clear starter. Can't blame him.

Who has been more fragile in their career? Also look at Daniels’ rushing stats. And they only payed 4 games in 2020.

I truly believe Daniels was brought in for a couple of reasons.
1. In today’s world of college football, QB’s are not going to sit somewhere waiting their turn. The staff knows this and grabbed Daniels for insurance and competition
2. Brennan hasn’t proven he can stay healthy and it would not be wise to have only two young guys available if Brennan does get hurt.
