Our team is pissed off. I believe we will show up Saturday and prove that. We will then leave with a victory, and then I'm going to enjoy a rib-eye and whiskey after I slay my lady.

We have the talent to win'em all. But that's been the case for most of the last 5-6 seasons if not longer.
I think most of us are just suffering from prolonged "Les-fatigue."

It's a different flight path under the radar this time. Before, we as fans knew it could be done; however, currently there is a significant doubt from the base of support.
I am not sold, but I do hold out optimism that they do have the ability to rise from the rubble of discontent. Saturday is a big step (not THE "step"), and a convincing win in JHS is always something to build on. It boils down to efficient execution of a more forward-thinking offensive game plan, continued special teams performance, and an improved showing from one half of the defensive secondary.
It can fall into place. We shall hope and see.
Geaux!!!! You wonderful men of Purple and Gold!!!!!!

that's too bad. I was so hoping to sell you on this team.
This is a critical weekend for sure but if we get by Fla without any more losses to that point there wont be any room on the bandwagon...

haven't talked to an SEC fan yet that thinks we can win the west; nor read of one on the SEC rant.
we are under the radar.
do we fold? or do we show 'em we are Tigers.
that's the 64,000 dollar question.
I have yet to meet a Tiger fan who believes this team can run the table...no one on here believes that do they?
Most believe we will lose at least 2 more games and Miles will be replaced. Look around Sir, the SECW is pretty darn competitive.
New QB makes things more interesting...
Team still has issues with special teams and playing a complete game
last 2 games zero second half points
Doesn't appear to be a championship team in my book but each game has a tale tale sign
we shall see

The difference now is that we have a quarterback who knows more than a few plays and can make the throws to back defenders out of the box. As he gets more comfortable you will see the offense open up. Defense was always there.

I'll make it simple: Etlings ability to read defenses and distribute to all levels creates more room for Leonard.
Barring injury, the prospect of Leonard facing 7 in the box, and Etlings completions, with this defense, we are a tough out going forward.
A little momentum is all we need to see blowouts. I see it clearly and can't understand beliefs to the contrary

Only a couple of new starters on the OLine.
With them both being at OT and us trying to pass more that could be pretty critical
They'll need help against teams with good ends like TAMU

What major/elite defense has he faced so far? Big difference between Moo State's D and Bama's D.

This is a different team than the norm. This is a team that is loaded in talent, finally has a decent qb, and appears to be improving each week. If the defense continues to improve, and etling remains healthy, the sky is the limit. The fact is the state game was a fluke in the second half.. . I wouldn't expect LF to put the ball on the ground again this year. Those possessions, combined with the perfect onside kick, obviously changed what would and should have been a blow out. LSU played two very good quarters, vs one the week before. Let's see if they continue to improve this week.

Bama and the dwarves (fla, ole miss, arky and atm) are the test but you can't count us out at this stage. Our chances have improved and will continue to improve as the team grows in confidence.

Everyone knows the answer to this question, he coaches to lose by very little

After reading some of your other posts I'm convinced you're either a) the best troll in the history of this board or b) completely retarded

LSU is not winning the West because of 2 main factors. The OL has not been healthy enough to develop a solid starting 5 with chemistry. And Fournette is not 100% and probably won't be this entire season. Etling is solid but just doesn't have the experience to withstand the November mine field.
I think I counted 3.

Nope, nope....best case scenario is that we've got 2 more losses in the tank, and could have as many as 4. Les isn't the same coach he was when he got here, and other teams have improved since 2011 while we've declined. Heck, our wins are only slightly less painful than our losses now. Les has removed the fun out of LSU games.

I can answer it for you for a hell of a lot less than $64,000.

People were very optimistic going into this season. The biggest question that everyone had was the quarterback position and whether BH would improve from last year. Consensus was that all we needed was average QB play and this team could make a run.
Since then, only two things have happened. We found out that BH had not improved just as many of us were concerned and we lost to Wisconsin in the process of finding out. Now we've switched to a QB who seems to be giving us the "average play" that everyone was hoping for and we still control our own destiny.
So why can't we just wait and see how it unfolds, and support the team along the way without so much pissy bullshite?
