Just sent you email. I'll wait to see how it works for you before i send it to others. Should work. I accessed "subject to blackout" using normal LAN settings in dallas and it said "sorry event blacked out.....or whatever". Then went through proxy server and it let me right in, "game not blackout....or whatever"

I am able to get past the blackout notice put when you try to watch a game that is streaming now I get a popup that asks my isp and to sign in with that account.. I get the same results with both methods..

I think I may have got it working. I don't think we will really be able to tell until the Kent St/UCI game comes on. It needs to be tested on a game that is blacked out here. If I can post what I think is the workaround with out getting banned I will.

I just stepped out and wont be back in front of comp for a while.. No iphone here so I cant do alot of emailing. It's basically the same idea as the previous workarounds just doing things in a little different order.

Is there a current game blacked out for you right now that you're trying to access? Also, when you select the "subject to blackout" link for the upcoming LSU game are you receiving "your event is not subject to black out" or something like that?

Not yet... When I get back home the kent/UCI game will be on which is blacked out in Baton Rouge. Then we'll know for sure.

If I hit it without any of the workarounds in place it obviously tells me I'm blacked out. However when I put the workaround(s) in place I am not blakced out but when you try to launch the player you get another popup that asks you to sign in with an account for an espn affiliant (Cox, etc). If what I am trying is really working you have to launch the player then apply the workaround and refresh everything.

I'm having this issue as well. If I dont have the proxy running, I can watch ESPN3 with no problem. But once I turn it on and try to watch the current game, I get the same pop-up. And then I click on AT&T and it tells me to "sign in below" but there is no sign-in option. Anyone else??

Idk guys... The IT dept at ESPN is obviously all over this type of thing.. Only way we are going to be able to know if any of this may work is to wait until a blacked out game is on.
