i got that message from ESPN3, too. just pick your ISP, which will probably not do anything. then go to that myESPN thing to sign in if you have chosen an ISP for remote access before. if you haven't even done that, i would turn of the IP blocker, go to ESPN3, sign in, try to watch a video and select your ISP if it asks you. then turn on the IP blocker and try again.
ETA: the IP blocker is called HotSpot Shield. Someone mentioned it on page 11 of this thread. google it and download it for free.

just read my post. that's all i did. download HotSpot Shield. I guess don't run it yet. Go to ESPN3 and sign in/create an account. Play a video that isn't blacked out. choose your Internet Service Provider if it asks you to. then x out of ESPN3. run the HotSpot Shield. go back to ESPN3. play video that is blacked out. if it asks you to pick your ISP/sign in, then do those things and you should be good.

You may have to activate remote access on your espn3.com account in order to use the hotspot shield.

Call me a dumbass, but before I downloaded this hot shield I would go straight to ESPN3 with playing now options and upcoming selections & and now after downloading I only get the ESPN Player. I can't seem to get back to the listing of the games
