The problem that A&M causes for LSU is the fact that they are recruiting better, have a different coaching staff, and they are in the SEC maybe not this year but about two years from now LSU will be getting treated like the stepbrother in the west to A&M and BAMA. A&M's recruiting heavily in the New Orleans area now as Landon Collins brother is seriously considering them now, which would be a big blow if the staff can't convince Nkmdenchie to come to tiger land.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought A&M was coming here next year for a night game?

Now, we beat their arse worse than anyone last year...John Chavis shut them down before, and so he will again

Thanks, Pete. That was a well thought-out, tightly worded, and comprehensive response.

I'm not so sure the East is the limiting factor here.

Georgia took a huge hit on the defensive side with players declaring for the draft and doesn't present some super talented team as yet. Likewise, did you watch Florida play in the sugar bowl and say to yourself "I hope we don't have to play them next year". Florida was smoke and mirrors this year, and most of their best players have declared on defense while the offense figures to be another train wreck.

If LSU "doesn't stand a chance" (which I don't believe) it's because Alabama and Texas A&M are both going to be real good in the west and will be favored preseason over LSU. If LSU wins it's openeer over TCU, they really have a shot at 10-2 or 11-1 on paper.

Screw the so called experts and what they say. No one knows what will happen until the season gets here and we see what teams have injuries, suspensions, etc so on. I never understood how so many of you get hyped over senseless crap.

Alabama, yes, A&M, maybe. Both Florida and LSU showed how to stop Johnny Football. You limit his ability to scramble, keep him contained, and force him to beat you with his arm. He's not nearly as effective if he can't run. Like Bama, A&M avoids having to play UGA or USCe from the SEC East, so they have the 2nd easiest schedule in the SEC West.

They been saying that for the last 5 years. Its strange how now Texas A&M is a juggernaut,,,,last year supposedly Arkansas, year before that Auburn...Its like LSU is lucky to be in the conference......How bout Texas A&M and Florida gotta come to Baton Rouge. Last Time we went to tusacaloosa equaled a W. Last time we went to Georgia period ended in 2 wins.....So frick him...
