Has anyone thought to email Brian and ask him if he's aware of why teams in the SEC like LSU, UF, aTm have to play tougher schedules, than say, Bama?

I'd love to know his reaction.

Well, take that back. I already know how that would go over.

So ESPN is now on this hype machine? I guess Manziel is the greatest football player in the history of football now and rushed for 200 yards in every game....oh wait....he only had 27 against LSU.

frickin ESPN....

So true.

Beating Bama makes aTm a juggernaut. LSU beating Bama means Bama has to restore order.

LSU beat as many top ten teams as Texas A&M even played. I'm talking about last year's LSU team that so many people are bitching about -- it had more quality wins than the A&M juggernaut. I mean, there's living off of one big win and then there's this.

I am not convinced that 2013 schedule is so much worse than the 2012 schedule. It will be tough.

LSU lost close games to Florida and Bama. Certainly LSU would have beaten Bama if they could only exercise their offensive demons.

The question isn't the schedule. The question is the offense and defense. Will they be any good?

Was this the same ESPN that hyped USC to preseason #1?

Remember that ESPN article in August in which we are warned that USC was back to sweep the SEC teams under the rug?

I wonder if JFF will even make it to the Fall. Dude is a time bomb waiting to go off into trouble.

But when did A&M become a juggernaut? One good year and suddenly they are Alabama?

Let's be honest, if they didn't have that early TD called back for an unnecessary chop block that would have added on to their lead in our game, it would have been ball game.

Their first game was against Florida instead of Louisiana Tech because the storm. Otherwise, I think they win that one too. That was Manziel's first game ever at QB for the Aggies and they still almost beat them (even though Florida had already played a game and got those first game mistakes out of the way).

And, of course, they went into Bama and were beating the crap out of Bama before Bama managed to climb back into it...only to lose.

The destruction of OU in the Cotton did not hurt their hype either.

Yeah like the one where we beat them at their house?

A&M hasn't won shite. Their QB had one outstanding year and so they made a good run in their first year in the SEC.

They are losing the best OLineman in college football and possibly one of the top 5 in Mathews. They are losing their second best RB. They are losing their 2nd and 3rd WRs. Those three guys accounted for 27 of their TDs this year. They are not quite a juggernaut yet.

C'mon -- you have to admit that 5 turnovers and two missed kicks made a slight bit of a difference. Before that you guys looked like Kentucky in the first half.

I hate to rain on the parade, but we're still set on offense. Good chance Jake Matthews stays, and he moves to LT. His little brother takes over at center, we keep our guards (both finishing Soph. seasons), and have a choice of Jeremey Stuckey (stud JUCO transfer) or Joseph Cheek (6'7" 300lb RS Soph) to play RT.

We will miss Swope at WR, but are almost overloaded on WR talent. Yes 3 of our top 4 receivers happened to be seniors this year, but the guys backing them up would start on most DI squads. Same at RB -- Christine Michael wasn't our second-best RB; he was probably the third or fourth. You guys will get to meet Brandon Williams and Tra Carson next year. You probably won't like them very much.

I'm much more concerned with our defensive losses -- both our Sr. LBs will be missed, and we're losing a blue chip NG in Nealy, and a franchise DE in Moore.

Not that we have to worry about you guys outscoring anybody in a shootout next year...

the Tigers will face both SEC West juggernauts, Alabama and Texas A&M, plus the top two teams from the East according to our projections, Florida and Georgia. Do you seriously disagree with him? The only thing I would quibble with is that I don't think we have even an 8% chance at winning three of those. 1-3 in the four games is the most likely result, with 2-2 and 0-4 about equally likely. Anything better than 2-2 is a prayer at best.

Who gives a shite? These same guys picked LSU to finish in the middle of the pack in the SEC. And they won the SEC last year.

How many missed kickes/TO's did LSU have? LSU adjusted and beat the Ags. In Collie Station. I thought turnovers were part of the game? You make it sound like it was some kind of fluke.
