They lost to UL Monroe in between. Great night

Not sure how ABC's game will factor into this, you have to imagine if LSU-Bama played at night it would torpedo their ratings.

Having grown up in Alabama i can tell you that Bama doesn't feel the same about night games as LSU.Bamers like day games. So reall not a big deal.

So.......two things must be true;
1)We will beat Bama 'cause all our games in TS are day games and that means LSU>>>>>Bama.
and
2)Joe Aleva has NO CLUE how to negotiate and/or even ask to have at least one of our games moved to a night game. It obviously CAN be done,

3. It is not up to the schools at all.

How can people not be smart enough to realize this?

This is just crazy talk. Joe Aleva clearly has enough power to negotiate a new independent contract with CBS and ESPN. I know this to be true because Tigah 24/7 said that his Dad told him "he that don't ask, don't get". Based on this pearl of wisdom, all Joe Aleva had to do was ask and the networks would have given him whatever he wanted. Damn that Joe Aleva!

that would be awesome if they somehow make this happen

Why would LSU be in favor of this?

If it was a home game, then of course, but why would LSU want to play in a very hostile environment at night on the road?

If this deal worked, it would most likely give ESPN the rights to the LSU-Bama game next year, which will once again be a huge game and will be at Tiger Stadium. I hope this deal gets done.

frick this. If we can't get our games at night, I don't want ESPN and CBS bending over backwards to get the game at night for Bama

Yea cause that's exactly what's going on here, they're doing it all for Alabama. Some of you people have some real problems.

Another thing getting overlooked in this thread (until recently) is that if this game does get moved to a night game, ESPN would get to pick one game to protect and put in prime-time next year. I'd bet that's Alabama@LSU. Really, we could both get a primetime game out of it, so everybody should be hoping it happens.

I'd be shocked if next year's LSU vs. Bama game in TS isn't selected for the evening primetime slot through CBS. Not buying that moving this year's game would be needed to get a primetime spot next season.

If any of this is true...Bama is not getting this game moved. This complaining is misguided. It is annoying if Bama gets their daytime home game moved to night when LSU has raised such hell about it. But this is about CBS trying to make more $ off this huge game. Bama is not getting strings pulled to move this game. If it were at LSU this year, CBS would be doing the same thing.

Bama fans do not know how to tailgate for a night game, they'll over do it and be worn out for the game, I like LSU's chances at night even on the road.

I think its BS. I didnt mind all the day games, figuring that it would have LSU prepped to play full speed at 2:30 come the Alabama game. Now, they will move it to night time to screw with LSU once again.

I'm not real concerned with any advantage Bama or LSU may gain by moving this game to primetime.

I am in favor of it, however, because the entire nation will be building up all day to watching that game if it's primetime. It will be hyped all day long and there might end up being 105 billion people tuning into the game. Good exposure for both LSU and Bama.

the game should be in primetime. it is the biggest game of the college football season. I would say the same if it was in TS. Most of you should be excited as now you already have a built in excuse.

Plus you will have two weeks to build it up. Kinda like the SB. We've played our best two games at night, away, and one in front of a hostile enviroment. I will go ahead and vote yea, who's with me, raise and yea.
