I saw a possum in my yard during 7th inning of game 2. It reappeared yesterday during Sergio Garcia's par shot on 15.

Baseball has ordered the mold for the possum bronze statue to be erected at the gates of da Box. Gonna be Shaq- esq

This is what we sound like when we talk about the rally possum. We win games because of better play than our opponent, and we lose games because of opponents play better than we did. Some possum has nothing to do with it.
Louisiana has a bad enough rep for being backwards without having some "rally possum" hype.
The tiger is our mascot and lets keep it that way.
I thought it was hilarious.

Well no shite. Nobody really believes the possum has anything to do with us winning (or losing). But nothing wrong with having a little fun with it. Some people like to take all the fun out of sports.

Well...since we don't have a tiger in the habitat right now, the possum is our adopted go to mascot. Those possums have sharp teeth. Plus if the baseball players believe in the possum then I am all for it.
