Big Baby played below the rim but he was 6’9”. Williams plays like he is 6’3”

Disagree. He is only 6-6 and plays just right for a 6-6 guy.
Hopefully that is his last three of the year.

He's an undersized 4. His game is also the total opposite of Big Baby's.

Classic Rant!

LSU loses, TR complains.
LSU wins, TR complains.

TR must find fault.

He still plays small. I’ve watched every game and he struggles at the rim and rebounding. We have been getting killed on the boards all year. That’s the reason he’s not starting.

I played ball with big baby. Believe me when I tell you he was 6’7, and yea his game was predicated on positioning NOT athleticism. Completely different play styles

you and i are watching two completely different players wearing 24. rebounding is one thing he does NOT struggle with. he's lsu's #1 rebounder and tied for 16th in the league in rebounding. as a 6-6 true freshman

Same. I guess I see a different player than some others in this thread and Will Wade does too bc Wade has said Emmitt plays bigger than he is. Not sure what the hell the OP is looking at. Williams definitely does not play small

Rebounding is predicated by hustle, effort and positioning. Williams has shown all of the above. Shoot even Dennis Rodman was only 6”7

Change emitt williams with Naz Reid and I'd agree with you. Naz plays like he's 6'-0. Williams plays big.

naz definitely isn't a leaper but, his skills are tough for someone his size to defend. he showed a fantastic post move against bama. he can dribble drive from the key. he can shoot outside. he's not even terrible at blocking shots (16th in the league) and rebounding (19th in the league). he's got a huge upside and andy kennedy was pointing that out

i noticed that at the half, naz had 0 points, 0 rebounds and 2 fouls yet, lsu was still leading. that is awesome. it's been so great watching a different player each week step up.
