They'll play someone with more experience on punt returns. I think either tre white or trey Quinn. You have to have really sure hands to be the punt returner and I think Les will trust an older player. It's a different skill set than kick return where you have more open space.

Not true at all.

With shoes gives them about 1" to 1.25". Martins height with shoes follows that average.
Now someone like Justice Winslow had a 2" boost with shoes on. And that's just ridiculous. But 1" to 1.25" is about average.

Go look at the heights at the combine.

.1% of 7 billion is 7 million... So that seems plausible to me.

I think we'll see White on punt returns. He ranked third in punt return yards in the SEC and didn't have a bad YDS/PR. Jackson will likely take over that job as a sophomore.

I did and a good bit of them were .75.

You were in the threads during the year saying how he was legit 6'10. Well he isn't

I understand that, but watching these true freshman over the last few years light it up a PR, I say, why not? Ryan Switzer at UNC, Isaiah McKenzie at UGA, Demornay Peirson-El at Nebraska, I mean Johnson had pretty damn good hands in high school and Donte Jackson played WR as well. Quinn was the backup PR to White. White plays corner and doesn't even corral interceptions so why is he back there?

4.3 is way less than .1%. However Donte is probably close if not there.

White was no slouch on offense in high school albeit he played QB. Still, he was dangerous as a rusher. He's the incumbent, and it's easy to see Miles going with the productive upperclassman IMO.

ETA: I don't disagree with you that Jackson should get opportunities as a PR though. Just not sure he's a sure fire starter there.

Good info Red. Unfortunately you are wrong about one thing. Guice is between 220 and 225 now. And yes, I love informing you that he weighs more than you reported. Donte still looks like he needs to put on some weight, but that kid truly has world class speed.

Would like to know other freshman times as well.

Yeah LF7 isn't returning kicks this season

I hope not. He had a good one against ND, no doubt, but we have too many weapons to put him back there. I think Miles promised him returning kicks in his recruitment, but now that LF has blossomed (as expected) as a TB, hopefully they give Guice a chance to dance.

I'm with you there. Tell LF now is his time to shine in the backfield and let someone else return kicks

Hmmm, I seem to remember an interception against Florida that went a long way in corralling a victory.

That said, I'd don't think he should return punts.

This is ridiculous.

White averaged right at 11yards per return which was the best since PP in like 2009 or 2010. That's why he's back there.

And he's 1 of the top CBs in all of college football and is a true eraser out there. He takes away the other teams WR1 and does a damn good job at it to where the other team doesn't go his way that much.

But bash away.

According to that list, only 9 players had a difference less 1" between shoes off and on. 9 out of about 60.

Really going out on a limb there. You're saying less than 7.2 million people on earth run a sub 4.3.

No way...

Fournette probably shouldn't be returning kicks if he's getting the ball 20+ times a game. Guice is just as capable.

Correct

Very true as well, he was a bit hesitant looking most of the time. But my God the one time he wasn't, Wow!

You guys do realize that Leonard Fournette was in the top 25 in the nation and 2nd in the SEC in avg yards per kick return with 26.0 yards per return, right?
