IMO, if he was good enough to play big time college ball, he would've been offered by big time schools. Only reason he is even at LSU is because their first two choices pulled out last minute. And yes, his height definitely works against him.

Well, no other major school even offered Honey Badger. That turned out well for LSU.

Well now that Les was fired, maybe we now have a coach that can coach Qb's.

Former Heisman Trophy winner, Manziel was was only 1" taller at 6'0"

Another Heisman winner, Doug Flutie was 1" shorter at 5'10"

They made of for their lack of height with their quickness and FB IQ.

I would love to see him get some playing time next season. He has an insane work ethic and determination about him. I read how in highschool his dad made him some kind of hoop that he would practice over and over from differant spots on the field to drop the passes into. I think he will a great one!

I know the tape I watched he looked lights out versus our #1 D.

I read an article about Patrick Willis last night. He was a 3 star. Go look at his offer sheet. People misjudge talent all the time.

I know that usually the recruiting services get it right, but when I watch Scott I see a hell of a ball player

I wasn't drinking. I'm a big Lindsey Scott fan. That was basically 5 plays ran from different angles and him working out in the gym.
Saying he's making Arandas defense look silly is a matter of perspective. And silly.
That video and music looks like I'm watching a game on magic mushrooms.
This board has gotten to the point you have to 100% agree with people or you get trashed.

Lol, here we go. Same shite we heard about McMillan and I've heard from everyone who has seen him practice he will never play at LSU. This board has a fascination with underdog qbs who are brought in as depth and scout team qbs. We took him at the last sec for lack of better options. There is a reason for that.

I am hoping to see plenty of Scott in 2017. He appears to be one cool cookie with great field presence, good instincts and a good arm. Love, love, love QB's that don't hesitate when they see an open man.

He did a better impression of the Heisman winner than the Heisman winner did in the game.

Agree he is a baller. Some LSU coaches short change local players for some reason. It just isn't football either.

Also Blake sims was 5'11 and won a Natty. We don't even need to mention Drew and Russ

Ur trashed because you are inaccurate. There are 2 plays that are shown from a different camera view. The rest are shown 1 time. Ur entitled to your opinion. People here have the right to trash that arse.

Aaron Rodgers had zero offers out of high school. He was offfered to walk on at Illinois. He ended up at junior college and the rest is history. People get caught in physical tools and miss out on gems all the time. You can't judge intangibles.

What is the logic?

If he gives us the best chance to win, why would he not play?

What he did to help us prepare is noteworthy, and should be recognized and complimented. Positive reinforcement for good contribution can never be a bad thing. Thanks!

FYI, He got beat in the semis by tOSU...

As far as the know it alls and the haters on here who have not even seen Scott run a snap in HS or at LSU I will love to serve them up some crow.

Maybe he will or wont get his chance at LSU but digest this. LSU had two players who were LSU Gatorade POY in the Louisiana on the team last year. LF7 was one and Lindsey was the other. He was also Mr. Football in La his senior yr. Both of those awards are across all divisions in LA football.

His strong suit as given by many of his previous coaches is that he has always been in command in the huddle and teams follow him. He knows the offense as well as the coaches and he has pocket presence that allows him to most always find his guys or escape. He is a coach on the field.

IMHO, if given one shot in live action I think he beats out every QB we have on the roster including the ones that are committed simply because he has better football smarts than all of them. He is an excellent student but so is Etling. He just has a game knowledge of defenses and his offense that excels.
