Could be said about any of our last 10 QB prospects as well. All ranked high coming out of high school. The problem has never been QB talent, it's been the lack of development. Hopefully this will change with new staff

Amen to that.

#95. That was Ed Alexander. Dude even made Key look silly. Looks quicker than he was in high school. He's put in some serious work.

if he was good enough to play big time college ball, he would've been offered by big time schools.

There are literally dozens of examples to the contrary.

Odds are that "Omnipotent" Scott will be the same when the lights come on

The odds are most high school QB's will not have success at the college level so you are right about that.

Until a player takes the field no one knows.

In a fast moving sport like football the ability of a QB coming out of high school being able to find open WR's and not keying on a single receiver is totally unpredictable.

I think he may fool you and now we have a new OC unbiased, he will make the decision who will be the QB next year.

[quote] There is no way you can gauge his chance of being the starter based on what he is doing as a scout team QB.

you do realize that this is where you get your job at? performing well in practice. that's how Brandon harris got the job he was all-American Monday thru Friday but a waste on sat
