This is like the universal excuse phrase to use when someone speaks in absolutes like they know what they're talking about.

IMO, if he was good enough to play big time college ball, he would've been offered by big time schools. Only reason he is even at LSU is because their first two choices pulled out last minute. And yes, his height definitely works against him.

Have you ever seen his highlights out of high school? Do you know his numbers coming out of high school? Word on the street from people that's been at practice and has seen the kid play, he will more than likely have packages for him in the offense next year. He's that good. They didn't want to burn his RS

Ok, we get it he was a great high school player. But guess what? So was over a hundred other players on LSU's team. he is just another guy who will have a opportunity in Canada's offense. I do not care who wins the QB job. My only hope is that we have a definite starter without question and that whoever it is leaves no doubt that he is the man for the job. You claim this guy is ripping up Aranda's defense but I hope you realize that this is practice? A lot of stuff that happens at practice is situational and done while putting the defense at a clear disadvantage to prepare them for different situations. There is no way you can gauge his chance of being the starter based on what he is doing as a scout team QB. If this was the case Odell Beckham should have been at QB based what he did to the Defense while pretending to be Johnny Football while the team preped for Texas A&M.

Maryland, Rutgers and Syracuse are the only other P5 offers I see on 247. And those three aren't exactly powerhouse P5 teams...
