re: The 20th Century...WTF Happened? - Big_Slim
Makes you wonder what's coming this century. Maybe society already went through its rebellious teenage angst and we've leveled off in the 21st, but I'm inclined to think the climax of the human story is right around the corner....

re: Who is Snoke? - Big_Slim
So she swung it over her head and thrusted with it and that is evidence? I mean how many ways are there to swing the fricking thing, statistically there is probably gonna be some overlap. This is silly ...

re: Who is Snoke? - Big_Slim
Not really. The thrust we are talking about is very deliberate with unique form. The right elbow comes up high by their ear. Same with the overhand chop. It's form is unique and deliberate. It has only been used by those two.
Dude get out of here with this shite. ...

re: The Star Wars Trailer (Discussion Thread) - Big_Slim
I hope they don't water down the force powers. In that trailer Rey was just kind of cracking some rocks and Luke looked like he was about to shite his pants. I'm hoping she was making like a tsunami or some shite that we couldn't see....

re: The Star Wars Trailer (Discussion Thread) - Big_Slim
I was under the impression that it was just a popular theory they picked up from Reddit rather than an actual verified leak. If it's the former, then you suck. If it's the latter, you suck less. OML still sucks in either scenario....

re: Brothers Karamazov - Big_Slim
Unfortunately I think I got the Garnett version. It's not bad and I get the essential ideas which are very powerful, but it's like if I wrote a book in english and it was translated to French I imagine that all of the linguistic intricacies that define the prose in your language wouldnt carry over....

re: The story of my childhood friend's murder and his Father's search for Justice and more... - Big_Slim
I think this is hands down the best thing I've ever read on this site. There are so few times in this world when justice is truly realized but this story is one of the exceptions. Gracias for posting and God bless Mr. Schneider, mans got some brass balls to do what he did....

re: Is there a single memorable moment in The Force Awakens? - Big_Slim
Plenty of member moments for sure though.
We're home
Most in your face fan service I ever did see. I think the next one will be pretty balling though especially if they make Luke a fraction of how powerful he is in some of the books. ...

Brothers Karamazov - Big_Slim
Anybody read dis? I'm about 30% through and just really feel like a lot of the book gets lost in translation by virtue of it being super fricking Russian. Just finished the chapter with the conversation between Alexei and Ivan which I really liked, but I guess I'm still waiting to see why so many bri...
