Other than they don't have a great RB this team seems very difficult to beat unless LSU get's at least 3 turnovers...

Yeah, their offense is about as average as ours.

Their defense is very very good, but makes a living off of turnovers...something LSU does not do.

OM is good, but not as good as their ranking would lead you to believe....LSU and OleMiss are very closely-matched teams this particular weekend. It really would not be a very big upset if LSU wins (ranking-wise yes, but team-wise no)...this is pretty-much a toss-up game IMO.

I wouldn't say their offense is average as ours

They don't run the ball very well. Gonna be an interesting Saturday.

This is why part of me thinks Miles' usual run, run, safe pass offense might be good this game. Avoid turnovers, keep the game low scoring and close, and let the crowd and our athletes take over in the 4th quarter.Against bama I think we need to air it out.

This is a joke right? We have a backup SEC QB as our starter.

people keep saying their rush defesne is 2stronk but they have played no team with a rushing pulse/o line that can compare to LSU besides bama. Id like to see how they can handle that

I'm sure Les watched the Memphis tape. If freakin Memphis can go into the 4th quarter 3-7 against OM, I'm sure he, chief and Cam can figure out something

They have lived off of turnovers in a lot of games. They needed 2 Defensive TDs to beat A&M.

Ball security, and field position is the key to this game.

yes. a lot. their tiny little corners for example. even the belligerent dickheads on here should admit Jennings can throw a great deep ball. ole miss played their safetys up all day vs bama bc they mostly throw short. go deep, its what we're built for, then run through the line once they have to move back.

How do our yards per game compare?

They rank near the bottom in the running game. Force them to go one dimensional and make Wallace pass a lot, particularly against our secondary.

Their starting center is also injured, haven't heard if he'll play or not.

Ole miss...averaging 430 ypg and 35 ppg....LSU averaging 415 ypg and 35 ppg. And LSU has faced a tougher schedule, against considerably better defenses overall.

They do have a better defense than us, but LSUs defense is starting to come together.

Their QB who has a propensity to throw a crapton of interceptions from this point of the season (game 8) forward.

2012: 8 interceptions through first 7 games. 9 in the next 6 games.
2013: 3 interceptions through first 7 games. 7 in the next 6 games.
2014: 6 interceptions through first 7 games....its about time for the real Bo to show up

Yeah.....

1. New situation / roll reversal
2. Lsu has momentum
3. Their mascot is a black bear
4. That thing on their uniform that says "Ole Miss".

I honestly think most of the problem with our defense has been the offense not keeping them off the field. Even Mississippi St. was able to do very little on offense once our offense started producing.
