What bothers me about it is the inconsistency. They say that LF should quit college football to avoid injury, but they don't say the same about Chubb or Cook. Then, when they debate who the best back is, some of these idiots will then put Cook or Chubb ahead of LF. Whatever generates clicks.

Truth is, it's professional trolling. They're doing the same shite that posters do here to get people to respond.

It doesn't bother me because he should be used more out of the backfield this year and used as a decoy; however, Les will probably ignore everyone and run the exact same garbage arse offense we've seen since 2009. At least LF has a good insurance Policy

No, it bothers me that multiple parishes are underwater and the media is refusing to talk about it.

Sports media idiots just want attention via controversy and I refuse to give them that attention.

Do they? If LF7 went to a school like Houston, UCF, or Vandy, I can see that argument being made. LSU gets a lot of good press and exposure, but it's not like the boost LSU basketball got from Ben Simmons.

In Miles' tenure, almost all of his running backs have made it to the NFL in some form or fashion. Leonard gets prime time exposure by playing at a traditional football power, access to the best trainers, facilities, coaches, etc., despite what the media would have you believe.

It would only bother me if he plays and the doctors think he should sit out. He is too young for a career ending injury if he plays hurt. That ankle is his money maker. Does LSU care?

Yes. Pro Football needs to wait in the next room, please. Leave college football alone.

does not bother me in the current day and age.

25 years ago it may have.

Reasoning is 20-25 yrs ago there were sports journalist and media members. they had scruples and would do actual research and dig for information about any story they wrote or were working on.

Now it's just some internet jughead who spouts the first thing that comes in his head as a "hot take". It's a joke.

Except for live sporting events, I stopped watching ESPN, etc., years ago. Literally cannot remember the last time I watched any sports-related programming that wasn't an actual event I care about or have an interest in. More important things to do in life than care what these talking heads have to say.

IIRC, Les had Clarett as a guest speaker last summer address the team. I'm sure he made clear to LF (and everyone else) that skipping a year of football is a really bad idea.

You think we have had shite offenses since 2009?

We had productive offenses in 2011, 2013, and 2015.

I watch the live games and the documentaries they show because I watch documentaries probably too many but that is another discussion. Sportscenter and the other shows have turned into what the rest of the national news has turned into. It is no longer about reporting what happened. It is about saying what you think will happen and taking a side.

this.

I never listen to pundits. They don't know any more than you or me, and they're just trying to get ratings, clicks, etc.

Ignore them all, and just enjoy the games.

Sound like you are clinically depressed. Maybe you should take a look at that. Seriously.
