Personally, I have always kept quiet about Miles and the Les jokes. He is a family man and I would want my son(s) around him any day before Saban!

doubtful. most can't see past losing to Kentucky in 2007. losing to Arkansas in 2007 with a guaranteed appearance in the NC if you win. and, then add in all of the plays/games that have ended in wild fashion with the team looking like they are completely unprepared and have no idea what they are doing.

IMO, it is unexusable to have the team wandering around like chicken's with their heads cut off: i.e., Ole Miss, Tennessee, Auburn, etc.

The team looks sloppy half of the time and we have lost games because of it. And, this is a direct reflection of Les Miles.

65-17

2 west titles
1 sec championship
1 national championship

Loaded young talent on this team with more coming.
Great coaching staff top to bottom
Future is bright.

And there are idiots still complaining.

fixed it for you....wow how old are you? small minds think small.....while you were wanting miles gone, most of us that have been around a while, and know football, realized the qualities that the guy brought to the table....and had the nuts to stick up for him. All we ever heard every single day was "all of us old guys (I'm 44) are okay with mediocrity...etc..etc"....as if miles could only bring us mediocrity.... I got news for you kid, LSU will go through bad times again...and then you will understand what we "old guys" saw in the guy.

Possibly, but I'd say that having to kick Perilloux off the team had a much bigger impact on the two "down" years than bad coordinators.

Miles has a better record than Saban had here. Saban had the likes of Jimbo Fisher, Muschamp, etc.

seems like he's coming around and has learned from some earlier mistakes (which is good)

we need a quality QB (hopefully mett is the guy) to get a better offense

LA has produced some insane talent the past few years and miles has poached some excellent OOS guys. the cubpoard is full

building a D around great DEs and secondary is a step in the right direction

Again, these are kids with absolutely no clue. They have no comprehension that almost every single time Miles has time to prepare for a quality opponent, LSU destroys the opponent......

These kids can't comprehend 65-17. They can't quite phathom that is is much better than Saban did at LSU...they can't comprehend that the SEC is much tougher than when Saban took a 3 loss team to the Sugar Bowl in 2001. Saban is a great coach...but so is Miles...look at the team he has right now....it is unreal...and will be even better next year......this idiot as this kid calls him....after this year, will have five top 10's in seven years....3 West Titles, 2 SEC Titles, 2 NC's and likely a 76-17 or 75-18 record...it is truly amazing...yet you still have idiots out there like this guy....but again...he is just a kid "let's hope".

You didn't refute my point at all. What I said still serves as the reason that their are still Miles' haters/doubters. Heck, if the ball bounces a different way a few games in the last few years, we might be looking at a .500 season and Les might have been fired.

But, keep ignoring reality.

Im not trying to get into the Saban/Miles either Im just pointing out that Miles has a better record than a previous coach who had phenomenal coordinators.

Tell me about R E A L I T Y ! ! !

Reality is that he won! Doesn't matter if the ball had bounced the other way, all that matters is it did not and all the W I N S ! ! !

yeah.....he is really turning it up now from his four top 10's in six years.....and his 62-17 record. what you kids forget is that there are more teams out there than LSU in the conference....you have at least 3-5 other teams each year with an equal chance as LSU in terms of NC hopes...obviously all of them can't win it every year. Your boy Saban, while loaded with talent at bama, is in his 5th season now, and has 1 SEC Title...and I love LSU's chances over him this year...but you guys just can't quite comprehend that.......

Just curious if there's a few stragglers left.
I hope you have some of this in hand.

Otherwise, why would you want to lure cockroaches back into the light right now?

If you want to argue hypotheticals, then if the ball bounces a different way in some of the close losses then miles would have single digit loss total at LSU.

But I'm looking at the facts of what did happen. Not what could have been.

The facts are 65-17.

fixed it for you......pay attention in class kid.

Also, if the ball bounces a little better, he is undefeated in 2007 in the 2 OT losses.......

There isn't one team out there that hasn't won a NC without some luck in a game or two...NONE....you just aren't smart enough to understand that yet.

Great question. I think I was trying to exploit them, a public humiliation of sorts.
