why don't you try to find some stats to back this up, and find something besides the Boise States of the world who play 11 cupcakes a year. Every year the teams that compete for the NC are the ones who recruit the best, spend the most money on facilities, coaching staffs, etc.

Can you please explain to us what is so funny about Miles frickin' up on a yearly basis? I'm trying to find the humor in losing games because you just let the time run off the clock. I am trying to figure out what's so funny about sitting Scott on the bench after two long TD runs against Kentucky in 07 only to play a hurt Hester. I'm trying to find the humor in watching Arkansas seemingly take away your chance at a NC title in 07. I really am trying, but I don't think it is funny at all.

I just think he doesn't always prepare the team the best

LMAO at this idiot. Miles has played in 6 bowl games, and has won every single bowl game by double digits (except the monsoon in florida). His teams have not even trailed a team by double digits over the last 30 games...when facing primetime games OOC (VT & Oregon) LSU has completely dominated.....he has won 2/3 of games against top 25 teams.....LMAO at the ignorance of you. I heard a quote from colin on espn the other day "say what you want about les miles, this LSU team under miles has always been lights out in prime time big games"......one thing I can say, I ALWAYS trust les miles to have his team prepared.....that fact you say this says everything needed to know about your intelligence level.....EVERY single coach out there has blunders...EVERY single one...but not all of them play in the SEC and are 65-17 and have never lost an OOC regular season game....you are truly an idiot...or just playing a game on here.

Leslie will likely lose 2 games this year. I have no reason to believe otherwise b/c he's NEVER lost fewer than 2. I doubt anyone on here will be singing his praises at season's end if we have 2 losses. Just sayin. For that reason, I do NOT like Les Miles.

So the logic here is that he can't lose less than two games just because he's never done it before?

think about all the wins...it'll make you feel better. Unless you'd rather focus on the few frickups because it justifies your pissiness.

Right... It couldn't POSSIBLY be that Miles and the coaches thought that JJ gave us the best chance to win.

They all got together, and said "you know what ? Lee is definitely better, but we like JJ as a person better, so let's play him instead"

GTFO you tard

I don't carry an umbrella ever, because the 2 times I carried one years ago it rained.

I point out your age because you don't really use logic or analytical reasoning skills. You don't use facts to support your argument, just opinion. Of course, your facts aren't accurate, so I'd stay away from facts to if they did not support my stance....so in your case...it is best you stick to opinion...logic and reason are not your strong points yet....they will come around though with age "hopefully". hand in there.

they're not funny, but you can't find a coach that will not screw up in crunch time once or twice a year. Miles is a favorite target of the media because of his goofy mannerisms, but other coaches have similar gaffs. Spurrier had several last year. Saban blew a huge lead at home.

I wish like hell you were around to remind Curley Hallman about this when Louisiana was bleeding bluechip talent to Nebraska, Miami, etc. etc.

jlsu is lying his arse off, he hasn't liked Miles since the first play of the Arizona State game in 2005. Hell, he was probably emailing his outrage to TAF, the athletic department and the board during Miles intro press conference.

I'm willing to admit that he slowly won me over. I was never afraid to admit that he was a good recruiter and his kids love playing for him. That says alot about a coach. I just didn't think his style of coaching would have longevity in the SEC.

The fact that he made unconventional decisions at critical times and his lack of clock management in several situations helped fuel my dislike at the time.

Only in the Arkansas game in 07 when Flynn couldn't complete a 5 yard slant in the 1st quarter and then got hurt in the first half.

hester over keiland

No. I only complained about Hester over Scott in the Kentucky game when Scott broke two long runs, was gushing their defense, and Hester was hurt and barely running full strength.

Nope. I'm not SFP. I did find it curious how Keiland would not see the field after making a spectacular play on offense. But, much like the Ware/Ford comparison's, Hester was the much better, complete back.

Sure, Ford and Keiland might have big play ability. But, Hester, and now Ware, always pick up the blitz, run the right routes out of the backfield, and consistently push the pile.

If Keiland was in on the Flynn to Byrd TD against Auburn, Flynn would have most likely been sacked because Hester picked up a blitz, and Keiland usually whiffed on those.

It's easy for Les to win when all the loose balls just bounce into LSU's hands.
