I mean BH has played really well over the past month and the offense was doing really well.

Now all of a sudden some of you guys want CC gone? Because of one bad game against a great defense?

I don't wont to break up the continuity and start over again. Wouldn't bother me at all though if Cam left. But the best thing to happen would be for Cam to just wake the frick up and smell the coffee.

I think he's a lot better than 6/19. I don't think the rest of the offense lacks talent. I don't think Les is responsible for QB development. Whom does that leave?

I'm not saying fire him now, but if the passing game continues to look like this, it seems like the only good option.

After you see the shite show this weekend everyone on this board may have a much more negative opinion of both Les and Cam.

I think Les Miles is the OC. Sweet deal, because we could paying somebody ZERO instead of the $1.5 million per year to Les's buddy.

I mean if you said(in august) BH would be sitting at 14 total TDs with 1 Int and 56% comp at this point, wouldn't the majority be quite happy?

They just had a rough game

Relax with the fire coach shite. We played a bad game collectively. We are getting better QB play than expected from a Les Miles oriented offense.

Offense has been shades of the same thing IMO but I also think he just gets out coached by Saban. I'm no coach of course, but it's dumbfounding how he manages to play right into Alabama's hands fairly regularly.

You can change OC every year and everything would look the same. We can have Tom Herman as QB coach/OC and nothing would change.

No it hasnt. The basic run first is there, but its been like that under multiple head coaches.

Our passing game has been putrid for the better part of eight years (2013 was the exception where we finished at #45 in passing offense with Mett, OBJ and Landry). That was Cam's first year. We finished at #116 last year. We are currently at #117.

So under Cam, we are averaging the #92 pass offense in 3 years so far.

Our average was #102 for the three years prior to Cam's arrival. So we went from putrid to...well, putrid. Miles is such a ground and pound, old-school formation-type, that I don't know that the offensive coordinator really matters.

Will just copy and paste what I put in another thread:

This is the best it will ever be under Miles. Les and Cameron go way back and Miles will put a decent amount of trust in him. Cameron supposedly has a penchant for developing QBs (something Miles isn't known for) and that seems to be the case thus far with Mett and Harris. This is conjecture, but I think Cameron does about as good of a job as anyone could reasonably expect within the confines of Miles' demands. I'm also inclined to believe that not a lot of up-and-coming OCs would be enthralled with the prospect of coaching under him if they have other opportunities available at elite programs.

IF....IF Les doesn't let Cam call the offense like others believe to be the case then NO! If Les is calling the plays then stop paying Cam.

IF...IF Les is calling the plays or influencing the offense because he doesn't believe in the QB like others have stated they believe then NO! It's Cam's job to develop the QB

IF...Cam can't show Les that he is capable of running/owning the offense such that Les is willing to let it go then No!

Finally....if Les just refuses to hear Cam and let him run the offense then he himself should go....so No!

Maybe Miles s not the right OC. He has final say on all the calls. That's why we are so slow getting plays in and getting o the line of scrimmage thus wasting valuable Tme Outs!!!

The game plan the first half wasn't so bad after further review. The sequence before halftime hurt. The INT hurt and then the wheels came off. Henry had 100 or close to that number at half

Having the final say doesn't mean he's the OC.

The head coach can always say he wants to do something else. I don't think that happens very often.

They gave Harris a chance to beat them deep once, and he did. We don't even get the field goal in the first half if it weren't for Alabama penalties.

If Cam is calling more innovative plays, and Les is saying, "no let's run I formation, and every now and then we'll throw downfield," then he needs to stop doing that. I don't buy that's what's happening though.

Bullshite, on the deep pass to Dupre which was a PI, Harris couldn't step into the throw b/c Vadal got whipped. And penalties are a part of the game
