Wish the best for him and his family. Thankful for all he did in the Purple and Gold.

Was he healthy enough to do pro days or anything? Kinda screwed him if they made him wait this long.

Saban saw what difference he can make and denied his request

I do not think he participated in Pro Day and it sucks for him. Something that NCAA has to fix because with that draft weeks away, it is a tough situation.

He will sign as a UDFA and he will make it onto a roster somewhere. His size and blocking abilities are as good as they come at the tight end position, and he was an underrated athlete in the passing attack. I have a feeling that everything will work out for Gordon in the end.

I don't understand why it took so long. It's a yes or no question. If you get too many requests every year that makes this shite drag on, hire more people. Kids making you millions of dollars at least get them some answers.

Damn, that sucks. We needed Gordon. Jeter isn't much of a blocker

He couldn't participate in the pro day because he hadn't declared. He's basically gonna get scouted on what he did during his time at LSU.

How many games did he play last year?

This is why the NCAA is so shitty. Not because they denied his request, but because they took this long to do it.

Any chance he could be developed into an NFL lineman?

He played two games before his injury vs. Auburn, but came back against Florida when he re-injured it

Wish we got him back but Moreau is a hell of a blocker and was only a freshman. I expect him to be putting lb's on their backsides. Jeter is a great target in the passing. They'll be ok there.

He did a really good job with his statement. They are usually too perfect or a mess. Best of luck to him.

The NCAA really should atleast have the balls to tell him a bit faster whether he's eligible or not. I feel for Dillon. He was a great tiger and a huge asset to the run centric teams we've had. Hope he goes out and gets drafted or signed as a UDFA and kills as a lineman!

By the letter of the law he had no shot. My guess is he hadn't fully recovered enough to participate in spring drills or pro day so they gave it a shot with the NCAA.

frick the NCAA for taking so long on this. And not just Gordons either, a player for Iowa was denied a few days ago.

Denied a medical redshirt 6 days before the NFL draft... These players missed out on everything that leads up to the draft like combine, measurements, interviews, visits to teams, etc. Such bullshite. Pretty much forced to enter the NFL just 6 days before the draft.
