Even if the sec said that they would cover the buyout that wouldn't do anything to help cover the lost revenue from the home game that is the main problem. Frick the SEC

Somebody tell that idiot that the SEC doesn't have the legal authority to force an entity to break or buyout a contract with a 3rd party. LSU's contract with USA shields them from any SEC strong arming. At best, the SEC would have to buyout the game if they want to force LSU to play UForfeit on the 19th.

I like Des, but frick him. Florida had every chance to reschedule, like UGA and SC... Like the four other NCAA games that were scheduled to be played in the state of Florida. LSU offered all it could to play the game in Baton Rouge or reschedule to another location.. But on Tuesday and Wednesday Florida assured everyone they would be able to play the game.. Then on Thursday morning they decide to cancel. What didn't they know Thursday morning that they didn't know on Wednesday morning that caused them to cancel?
Florida had something to gain by not playing that game, I don't know for sure if that played a factor, but it is hard to look at it and not think it was at least in the back of their minds. Now all of a sudden they want us to give up a home game? frick that.. They screwed up last week and because of that, they should be the one who has to eat a home game..

Many here continue to show a lack of impartiality and a lack of reality. He was correct in saying the SEC should demand the game to be played. It has to be played for conference integrity. It will be played IMO.

Uh solution time was LAST WEDNESDAY. This game will not be played, Alleva will stand his ground as he should and LSU will probably be screwed out of the SECCG (if LSU wins out) and the SEC will make sure UF ends up with two losses so both schools lose in reality.
This game will NOT be rescheduled or played this year.
