This is getting pretty funny. Clearly some of these guys don't understand how it went down and they also overlook the revenue impact outside of having to buyout a rent-a-win team.
They also forget that the SEC has catered to a few other schools with the scheduling issue and now LSU finally took a hard line and said we aren't going to roll over.
I'm ok with LSU leaving the SEC if they won't back them up for once.

maybe so but there is no way LSU should be responsible for buying out SA and losing the revenue of a home game. The fact that people can't understand, fathom, realize that UF could have played the game on sat, sun, or Monday and we wouldn't be in this mess is mind blowing...then to actually think LSU should be punished monetarily for what Foley and Sankey allowed to happen

This was NOT a screw up! At least not by UF and Foley. this was ORCHESTRATED and they got exactly what they wanted. Either a game postponed to a date at which tie they assumed they'd be healthier, or a complete cancellation. Both of these were preferable to the assumed loss this past weekend.
The only one who screwed up would be Sankey and the SEC...but that assumes they did not see this for what it was...and only a damned fool believes they did not.

What Joe said though is there is going to be a home game played Nov 19. What I think is going to happen we're gonna get Florida at home this year and then get forced to play at Florida 2 years in a row which sucks because that means our home schedule next year is just Arky,Auburn, and A&M for the sec and we still lose the revenue from the South Alabama game.

I agree with you on this. LSU shouldn't suffer financially for UF's actions.
The SEC should buyout USA. I imagine they have insurance for this type of thing, although I suspect the insurance company would fight because the game could've easily been played Sunday or Monday.
So Sankey's knee-deep in it. And praying for LSU and UF to lose alot in the next few weeks.

Not only this, but this is our last home game of the year. If we reschedule that date to play UF, our seniors last home game will be against bama. Not that this is overly important in the grand scheme of things but it just think it sucks for our players and fans to be the recipient of Sankey and Foleys frick ups.

Maybe he doesn't have it at all. It's a possibility he never actually suggested it. I personally think he did and UF was trying to spin it in their favor for their refusal to play.
