I think they'll utilize him in a number of different ways to create mismatches with the defense. The ravens offense did this repeatedly with their TE's under Cameron. As for his size, he may not be ready to block defensive lineman in this league from a physical standpoint, but what freshman is?

It will be interesting to see how he matches up against SEC defenses. At barbe he would just tower over defenders. Trey Quinn would just have to throw it high and Desean could reach up with out leaving his feet and defenders couldn't even jump high enough to reach his hands.

so tell us more about Barbe.

Also I think they would use Smith in the slot than at TE.

That's a pretty big difference don't ya think? I didn't even go to any barbe games and I knew fontenot was the qb. And a damn good one at that. He gets over shadowed a lot considering who he has to throw to but he puts the ball on the money every time.

Not really. I call my son by the dogs name sometimes. Me mixing names of kids on a high school football team that I've never personally met isn't a stretch.

Flex TE. Split him out about 5-7 yards from the tackle. I could see this being one way to use him.

Cam Cameron will stockpile receiving TEs for his Two Tight End Offensive Formations.

Great for 3rd downs and Red Zone situations.

He is easily the best pass catching TE on the roster, and prob has better hands than anyone on the team outside of Jarvis Landry. RIGHT NOW

You know something, you're right. Stokes, the juco TE I assume you're referring to, was brought here as a pass catching TE.

considering we only had 5 guys over 17 catches last year, and they all return, Under. Should finish with something around 10-15

I would love to see contribute!! I really don't think our other TE's that good. Chase Clement was our started so what does that tells us.

About two catches a game. So about 20 catches for the year.
