Start with a phone conversation to see if there's mutual interest. If so, then comes the uncomfortable conversation where BK and staff asks questions and sets expectations. At whatever point an understanding can't be reached, you cut ties. If the kid shows some accountability, he may be worth the...
Oregon will be a second tier team in the BiG 10
Who all do you have in the first tier? Because honestly, if we look at this past year, Michigan beats Oregon, but I think Oregon possibly beats Ohio State and I just don't trust Penn State in a meaningful game. Anyone else in the le...
Would he be a preferred walk on since his dad is an employee and tuition is covered?
This would be the likely and ideal scenario. ...
Depends on the situation. It's not ideal, but sometimes it needs to be done. Ex. Auburn 2019 I liked Gus, but that was absolutely a natty caliber defense. There's no way I'm trotting out true freshman Bo Nix at QB and basically wasting that defense, I don't care who his daddy was....

I probably wouldn't "go after him"...but if he calls the staff and says "I want to come home", he's absolutely a take....
Sankey and the league would have blackballed the hell out of him if he'd said the opposite....

I've always said, the football competition in LA is higher than most other places. As a result, I'll trust a high 3-star kid from LA more than I'll trust a 4-star from somewhere that doesn't have the level of talent and competition....
I don't think he has fully recovered from injury or at a minimum, is not in game shape. He looks tentative.
This. Medicine has advanced a lot over time, but that still was a major injury that takes time. And it's just as difficult to mentally recover than it is to physically rec...
Shone
Yep. He's at East MS JC and will have 3 years. Not great stats so far, but as an in-state kid he's almost a must get at this point. [link=(https://www.emccathletics.com/sports/fball/2023-24/bios/washington_shone_pl2r?view=gamelog&pos=d)]Bio[/link]...
We need some DTs. Like bad. Wingo and Smith are gone after this year. Both will probably leave early. If they do, we're in deep shite at DT next year.
All the DTs will be leaving Texas A&M in a couple of months LOL...

Michigan State/Mel Tucker situation

Posted by husslemane on 9/19/23 at 1:07 pm
From all indications, Tucker will be fired. I'd expect a mass exodus from E. Lansing. I remember LA native LB Aaron Brule being there. This is his 6th year, but with the NCAA, anyone can get extra eligibility, I suppose. Is there anyone else on the roster that could help LSU? Any positions where tra...
Agreed. I am in no way blaming JD. Everyone played a part in that colossal ?? F. That being said, Nuss needs a look.
This. Once we went down 14, I was ready to give Nuss a look. This looks eerily similar to Hurts/Tua at Bama. At some point, they needed Tua to throw the ball downf...

I can see him having a good relationship with Venables boasting about all the D linemen he put in the league at Clemson. I'll bet if it's not LSU it's Oklahoma....
Marcel kind of doesn't have a position. He's smallish for an every down linebacker. Aranda utilized him perfectly as a pass rusher, which is what he really is. He should have transferred to Baylor if he was leaving LSU....
