Is there someone else out there who can do better? I would think that there is. I can't get over how many times he says something only to have Doug Moreau correct him, politely. Play by play man needs to tell you down and distance every play, get the names of your team right, and never be negative about the team's play. There are enough of us who are willing to be negative without his help.

For the record, I have no problem with Jim Hawthorne at all. When I listen to games on the radio, I have no problem following the action and a lot of his slip-ups are quickly corrected - no problem. I think it's just fun for people to pick on him because that's how a lot of people on here are, but really the school could do worse than Hawthorne.

A coaches' show is controlled by the team, college or pro. It's propaganda, rainbows and lollipops. I'm laughing at those of you who are upset at Hawthorne for censoring the calls. How naive! I can't believe some of you tune in faithfully, chomping at the bit in expectation of some actual meaningful answers. BTW, Santa Claus isn't real...
