This sounds like something for E-TV! You have my jello-like brain's undivided attention. (Or was that just a teaser to bring us back from the commercials?)

Yes, because sponsors would really like someone like a rantard calling play by play.

Uh-oh...Will you be able to watch the game?
Good question!

The truthful answer is I'm considering Tivoing it and then only watching it if we win.

Forget sponsors.

It would be the FCC having a fit with all the F Bombs being dropped!

No more mixing LSU basketball players with football players etc. No more "I kiss every coaches arse when they say something wrong and I know its right" attitude, and worst yet, disagree with a fan base when god knows everyone is right about a situation that we are going through right now. I read your book and it sucks too. Quit your job, let the talking heads take over, cause they have balls, set the LSU coaches and fanbase straight, and have a better show.

LSUPimp would not be happy about this...

That's not a bad idea. I taped the Kentucky basketball game from Feb 22, 1982 because we had to go to a wedding that day. When the wedding was over and we walked out to the car and flipped on the radio, LSU was whipping the dog squeeze out of Kentucky. I went right home and watched the tape through TWICE! Then I marked it and stored it so I could savor it at least once every year, which I did. . . . .until my sister recorded f***ing Duran Duran videos over it!

My friends in CA listen to the LSU games via internet radio and they commented on Hawthorn. They said that because of him they had no idea what was going on on the field and that he seemed to exaggerate the negative and get confused as to which players were on the field. They said it was awful. There was nothing I could say.

I go ballistic when something big happens and he says, "Will you look at that?!?"

I want to go through the radio, grab him around the neck and tell him, "No, Jim, I CAN'T look at that. I'm listening on the effin' RADIO!!!!"

I've always thought HBO would have a hit with an unfiltered sports broadcast. Kind of like the Mystery Science Theatre 3000, but with sports.

Hopefully, you can enjoy an stress-free LSU win via Tivo Saturday night!!

yea jim needs to go. the mixing up of players names and shite needs to stop. id rather a play by play guy be accurate with his delivery than freaking out like he does.

if i have to listen to the radio id rather no emotion and accurate than a bunch of screaming and mass confusion going on.

True, but he is his own boss. It would take Alleva to fire him and I don't see it happening. We are stuck with Jim until he decides to retire...
