Are you the new age Jekyll/Hyde personality? Does your persona say "hack?" IMO, you need to leave LSU radio as the "voice of" and let someone who is competent and knowledgeable about LSU sports and player names take over. No more mixing LSU basketball players with football players etc. No more "I kiss every coaches arse when they say something wrong and I know its right" attitude, and worst yet, disagree with a fan base when god knows everyone is right about a situation that we are going through right now. I read your book and it sucks too. Quit your job, let the talking heads take over, cause they have balls, set the LSU coaches and fanbase straight, and have a better show. Go do basketball only, cause football and baseball are way too fast for you. Geaux Tigers! Beat Auburn.

Maybe Hawthorne would understand the LSU fan base better if we consistently got our facts wrong, called him Jim Hunt instead of Hawthorne and couldn't tell the difference between a double in the gap and an infield fly.

Hawthorne doesn't get paid to give his opinion. He's the play-by-play guy and hosts the other shows. He's not an analyst. He gets paid to call the games and promote the athletic department.

Yeah, he gets a little whiny and negative. But have you even heard other schools' pbp guys? They're horrible. Way worse than Jim IMO. Florida's guy is bad. A&M's guy is too. And I know he's retired, but don't get me started on Larry Munson. I have no idea how that guy became a legend - you had no clue what the hell was going on in the game while he was calling it.
