I've been told before that The Big House would fit inside of Ohio Stadium.

Don't really know what that means, but I will say if we enclosed the open end of the Shoe, we'd probably have a higher capacity than them.

I'm not positive what was meant when I heard it.

I think Ohio Stadium was bigger, we just have the seats spaced out more, larger isles, more isles, etc. Could have been complete crap though.

Ole Miss is worth it just to see the tailgating at the grove.

Been to:

Auburn
Florida
Ole Miss

I'd like to make all stadiums in the SEC. I think we are going to Bama this year.

Then I'd like to see:

Michigan
Notre Dame
Penn State

Of the one's I've seen, "There's no place like home!"

I think Rice stadium is the most beautiful I have ever seen and the Sun Bowl in El Paso is no slouch.

Yeah. I think VT gets forgotten due to the lack of tradition in comparison to many of the other great venues, but it's a great football atmosphere for an ACC school.

Camp Randall Stadium @ University of Wisconsin. Supposed to be pretty wild and rowdy. Kind of like Tiger Stadium used to be before all of the rich yuppies who sit on their hands started going to games.

The tailgate at the Grove is lame. Crystal & Candles? Give me a break. All of the prim and propers get highly indignant when you walk through the Grove yelling Tigerbait! Tigerbait! I also saw some LSU students walking through with an Ice Chest full of beer and were made to stop and dump them out on the ground by some of the U of M's finest. They weren't even drinking any of them, while a group of Ole Miss students walked by drinking out of the cans carrying an ice chest and nothing was done to them. You can have the Grove, highly overrated!

Place is a dump. You can hear a needle drop it is so quiet in there. Don't waste your time, eating dirt is a better experience.

That's because you cannot have beer on their campus. The cops out there will usually let you get away with it if you have it in a cup or do not do anything to draw attention to yourself.

That probably did it.

so overrated it's a joke. Couldn't even will their team to a win over fricking Appalacian State in the SEASON OPENER. Just a bunch of fat 60 year old men sitting down. Turrible.

I have been to A&M, UT and OU, all before their stadiums were upgraded. I grew up going to OU games and thought them cool as a teen.

A&M's was horrible for visiting fans. Seats in lower area had no elevation whatsoever. They should have bulldozed that place before they expanded. I'm sure it is much better now but could have been awesome.

UT's was better than A&M's but not by much. However, unless it is one of their big "pay backs are hell games" going to a game in Austin is similar to going to a PGA event. They suck at noise.

Been to Ole Miss, Arkie and Atlanta. Hate domes. Was looking forward to a game day at Auburn, Florida, Georgia or Bama but don't have enough points to get tickets :(.

Texas A&M is awful, i'ts kind of like a cult. But I will say at least they are loyal, passionate fans unlike UT fans. I've been to DKR Texas Memorial Stadium several times and its nothing to write home about. It's quiet and if Texas is winning the place is empty by the fourth quarter.

SEC venues I have be to that I would recommend, in order:
1.LSU
2.Florida (crazy as LSU)
3.Tenn (get on a party barge down the Tenn river)
3.UGA
4.Bama
5.Auburn

Granted the UGA game I attended was the 2004 day game loss and the Tenn game was the 2006 OT win so my opinion is skewed. Both great venues.

I also went out to Tempe in 2005 for the Arizona State game. Smaller, quieter stadium but it has a great setting and the women are unreal.

I figured that the Collesium would be pretty boring campared to what we in the south are used to, but would still like to go because of its history.

That sucks about Texas too. I figured with their rich tradition, an abundant supply of money and their big arse stadium that is being built, it would be worth it.

Virginia Tech...

I would love to go to a game here as well. I heard when they play "Enter Sandman" at the beginning of the game, the stadium goes off!

I saw a guy walking around with VT shirt on up here the other day.. had a picture of the stadium and said something like spend a night with 66,233 of your closest friends.. I was like damn dude you need to get out and make some more friends..

I'm sure it's a great venue though.. I'd like to see a UVA vs VT game at either stadium.. Hopefully there would be some energy..

They have a pretty nice stadium (I still like LSU, UF, Alabama, UGA, Auburn, Tennessee a lot more), but it is really a let down man. Tailgating is sparse. Its "cool" to be fashionably late to games, fans sit on their hands for the majority of the games. I am dead serious when I say that Ole Miss and Miss. State (using them as an example because of their stadium size) make more noise and make for a more enjoyable environment/experience than Texas. However, like I said before, the town of Austin is great.
