2008 UGA- Left my seat to go "catch some air" because we were getting out arse beat. Took a flask out of my pants and took a chug right next to a cop, totally oblivious that he was standing next to me. Needless to say I was excused from the game....
I saw a guy fall flat on his face only to pop right up and yell, "The f*ckin concrete is undefeated"...awesome...
quote: needs to play on a regular basis He does
We have a 3/4 man DT rotation with the top 3 being Nevis, Alexander and Woods. I believe Nevis started and received as much PT as the other DTs. He looked great and can't wait for him to have a big year....
don't underestimate our crowd. We hit 135 decibels against Nebraska. Also, the team most definitely will be pumped up playing the first game for Sark. Now I don't think we'll win the game, but give us a little credit.
Never been to Husky so I can't comment. I will be there Saturda...

I would love to see RS line up at QB in the wild tiger with Keilland at RB and Trindon as the slot WR in motion. Lot of options there....
Is a lot of people going to that? I mean come on your in a new state, explore and mingle with the locals and local bars. Travis Matte is always playing in Erwinville and shite, you can see him anytime back home. But really is a lot of people going to that?
Exactly why we aren't buyi...
Prime time tailgating location is around the Indian Mounds and Huey P. Long Field House. There are several large tailgate spots set up in this area and you can very easily walk down the hill to the stadium to see Mike in his cage and watch the band enter the stadium (two must do's if you are a firs...
Great job, can't wait to see 2 and 3....

Gold would be the obvious choice....
App. State / Michigan. Stanford / USC. Washington over LSU wouldn't nearly be as big as those. So, just keep in mind, our Huskies will be ready, and with all the trouble and question marks with your team, don't be surprised if we're step for step with you for the majority of the game.
...
We have embraced Miles and moved on. However,I do think there are some LSU fans who would take Saban back tomorrow. The truth is this, he is now the coach at Alabama so I automatically dislike him, that's just the way it works. But, the Tiger nation owes him a debt of gratitude for what he did fo...
Bill Curry was on the radio in Atlanta and he said Bama has too much fo LSU to compete with and are on a different level
Strictly based on a recruiting, this comment is hilarious. If you take the average of the last four recruiting class rankings (rivals) LSU and Bama are basicall...

Watched some you tube clips, he plays like a Tebow type, not an elusive burner like a Vince Young but a scrappy player that makes things happen with his feet. I see he was listed as running a 4.65 coming out of HS, he looks a lot faster than that on the field....
he was exciting to watch and ran for close to 1000 yards with an average at best offensive line. if he was playing for florida, there would have been no change. he is a gifted athlete on a poor team.
Makes a little more since now. I didn't see the 900+ rush yards and 13 rush TD's....

Jake Locker

Posted by HoustonTiger84 on 8/28/09 at 10:15 am
Someone explain to me how Locker won 2007 Pac-10 FOY by completing 47% of his passes with a TD-INT ration of 14-15?? I am assuming the Pac-10 was extremely thin on talented true Freshman in 07 or something. Those numbers are pretty unimpressive. In the four games he started last year he complete...
quote: I have never been to Big Woodrows during a football game. My parents are visiting Labor Day weekend. Will Woodrows be to rowdy for them?
People get into the game and the place gets rocking but its not a frat party or anything. People of all ages. Might want to try downstai...

re: LSU Bars in Houston?

Posted by HoustonTiger84 on 8/27/09 at 3:54 pm
Its tough to say and usually depends on the game. This is the season opener plus the first away game so it it should be packed (generally less crowded for homes games since many Houston fans travel to the games). To lock down a full table upstairs I would say at least two hours ahead. If you just...
We have a very solid 3 man DT rotation with Alexander, Nevis and Woods. JUCO transfer Hicks gives us some quality depth. At DE, Alem is an all SEC caliber player who is a fantastic pass rusher. The other end, Pep Livingston, has seen some PT and is a pretty solid player. Only real question would ...

I will actually be at the game in Seattle. Go early and get a table upstairs to get the full experience. It's 100% LSU fans, waitress's in LSU shirts, fight songs playing on the sound system...the places goes crazy. It has been designated as the Houston LSU bar for years, its the primary game watc...

re: Girls of the SEC

I have been to games at LSU, UGA, Ole Miss, Bama, Auburn, Tenn and Kentucky. Ole Miss was the best, no question. Next was UGA, LSU, Bama and Auburn in no particular order. They all had quality talent, its tough to pick one. Tenn and UK were the "worst", by SEC standards....
