There is not a single team in college football that looks completely dominant with zero flaws. It is wide open. LSU is easily a top 4 team right now.

This is the best front seven Nick Saban has ever had as a collegiate coach. The secondary this year is playing light years ahead of where they were a year ago. The new DB coach was the best hire we've made in a while. The two freshmen are ballhawks and Eddie Jackson is playing a position where he's a coverage asset and not a liability. This is far from the "we'll stop your run but here's some burnt toast" defense we fielded a year ago. Top to bottom we've got the best defense in the country. It's deep and talented at every level. I'm not willing to say we will "shut down" Fournette, he's the best player in the country. To date though, this will be the best defense he has played against in his entire life.

Defensively? I'll go ahead and disagree, I imagine most Florida fans would too. Florida has better starting cornerbacks, that's about it.
