Ohio State, I think we keep Elliott in check (around 100 yards and less than 5 ypc). Jones will gift us a couple of times through fumbles and ints. Game would be close.

LSU would beat OSU by two td's...........

Michigan State is super overrated

Not super... but.... MSU is SUPER physical... That would be a tougher game than OSU would be....

quote:

Clemson is still TBD on offense, but their defense is overrated.

We would DOMINATE Clemson in the trenches...........

Bottom line IMO is that Baylor is the best team in the country and would be the biggest challenge for LSU.............

unwad your panties chief. I said I believe there was another team that was more overrated than we were. That team might be Ohio State. I didn't rank LSU anywhere, you did.

LSU always has one of the most talented teams in the nation each year. Unfortunately we have the most average overrated coaching staff, besides Raymond, Orgeron, and Wilson. And it starts at the top

not really on defense this year, we have some good players, but far from one of the most talented in the nation. Also couldn't disagree with you more when it comes to the coaching staff. I think Miles is one of the top coaches in the country (as is the rest of his staff) and Cam Cameron is coming around. He is having to learn on the fly about certain aspects of modern college offenses, of what works and what doesn't and how to implement it.

Being 4 or 5 spots too high is not "the most overrated". Its not Lau's fault they beat everyone, and teams in front of them lost. Overrated title goes to USC, just like it does every year.

Baylor may be about the only team not over-rated

Can teams get into the thick of conference play before overrated discussions? TIA

How would you know? They run s gimmick offense...things change dramatically when you lose in the trenches. There is no one worth a shire in the big 12....seriously and they have played who to earn this respect? Ole miss scored 70+ twice this year....unstoppable. They scored 10 on florida

As for special teams...there will be some personnel changes

I agree but feel firing BDP mid-season is not to strong a response given what the STs HAVE NOT done this season to this point.

Can we at least agree that collectively.......collectively mind you......these three areas are cause for at least some concern and could easily cost a game or two down the road.

Harris is coming if we dont shackle him any further. He proved he can sling it when given the chance.

My biggest concern is that short of the last 5 minutes of the Miss. State game, this team hasn't faced real adversity yet.....has not really played from behind. I want to see our mettle when we're down 14 in the 3rd quarter and struggling.
Can we turn it around and turn it on when need be? That hasn't happened yet.
I question our ranking right now because we really have moved up only because other teams have fuked themselves over and slipped....not because we've dominated all comers from start to finish.

Cowherd is hard core rustling some LSU fans. What's also messed up about this cowherd thread is peej has some of the most logical and sound analysis in the whole thread. What the frick is going on over here.

my personal opinion is that has taken place...it just won't become official until the end of the season and for now a re-assignment......call it a hunch.....

S/T's has been a concern....if it continues...then I'll have cause for more concern. I'm going to trust the coaches have taken care of that issue as referenced above.

no, they haven't faced that this year...but BH has faced it before...and thrived at it against State. Even though that was last year...the confidence there has to be encouraging. I don't believe they face that kind of adversity this year, unless they have some critical turnovers early in a game....as strange as it may seem...I have full confidence in the offense that they have the talent to do whatever is needed.

again though...if you put this in perspective, who has? seriously. Alabama? they sucked against Ole Miss....people thought Wisconsin was good so gave them a pass...but Wisconsin is terrible, especially offensively. Middle Tenn they struggled for a while, and Arkansas they had 3 points midway through the third......we don't even have to discuss OSU, and Mich State, or TCU for that matter......imo, the most impressive team I have seen as of late has been Michigan....but it's hard to guage against big ten competition.

don't kid yourself. He knows what he is doing. I'll be honest...with him singing LSU's praises now....I am much more nervous about the outcome of this game. As most know, this dude is the kiss of death to whatever team he jumps on board with. What we need from him is saying THIS GAME WILL COME DOWN TO THE FINAL POSSESSION AND COULD GO EITHER WAY.......I would feel much better with that. Bitch is deliberately trying to frick LSU.
