That "unique skill" was in reference to the Bird Man, not CG. But I watched most of the games this past wkend, all over the country, and not one team's fans in one stadium was as continuously loud with coordinated cheers as were ours. Our fans are unique in the many ways we express our passion, but CG doing what he does stands out of the crowd in a very positive way. And there is no tv coverage in those early season midweek games, especially in Feb. and GC is doing the same exact thing that he's done for yrs & yrs. The players love him, enough said.

These lsu super fans are about as bad as the saints super fans that always get acknowledged. I used to sit by the whistle monster in the dome while growing up and we ended up changing seats. Attention whore fans are annoying. Too bad I have to deal with them in both BR and nola.

If Chris was a young Lsu coed, would you still complain?
Don't think so! Would it be about the spotlight? About the airtime? About showing off? All you would talk about is how hot! So what it boilds down to is eye appeal?
LSU cheerleaders OK, Chris not OK!

Yep. When it gets to the point of thinking you are a part of the reason people go to the games, you become an a-hole.

Are they "special"?

You can search and find plenty of threads about her in the last few months. Tons and tons of first hand accounts of her just being a bitch.

Let's define "bitch".
Tons and tons of complaints by people that complain about practically everything isn't exactly the best measurement of truth.

Why are you so set on defending her??

Why are you so set on attacking her? What harm has she personally delivered to you?

quote:

She your late night drunk hook up or something?

Thanks for that. Thanks for proving your intelligence and maturity level.

Anita is a bitch. Chris is very nice. That's the difference. Anita pushed me from behind once because I was in front of her after a strike out. She bought an extra ticket from me years ago to turn around and scalp it. She sat by me at away games and was never friendly. She is a bitch. She demands the attention, none of which actually motivates the team or crowd. Chris's only intention is to make some noise to help the team. He doesn't do chciken dances or push kids down for getting in his way. He gives tickets away half the time rather than sell them. They are total opposites.

that is, IMO, the most important question that has been raised in this thread.

Thanks for sharing that. That's the CG I know

Again, I can see everyones point here. I just don't get the bashing of a guy who the "players" know and love. The game is played on the field and not the stands. Don't you want what is best for the team to motivate them? And if these players listen and look for CG for a boost, wouldn't you want that?
