tell you what, Rohan is a super nice person, I'd recommend that if any of you are passing in that area, stop and get a plate lunch and some interesting chat.
At least he is trying to work for a living....lets his pride stay out of his way. Not a bad thing for a lot of the motor mouths to try.

Chat with Rohan Davey in Baton Rouge
I'd really like to back a good jerk/grilled chicken fast food place modeled after cains.

Is it Adams food mart? They had a chain tin Tampa that did well at this. Also I know ro, he got me irie a few times in his exp.

I am in- think if the first Cains you routinely ran into a Lsu great

Speaking of Cane's and Camelot subdivision in the same thread....that's the neighborhood where Todd Graves grew up. Just throwing out that tidbit.

Don't know about you, but I would trade my successful career as a chemical plant worker (please note sarcasm) for a job as convenience store cook if only I could say I was once a quarterback for the LSU Tigers. Are you kidding me? Rohan is a bigger success than most of us will ever be. His triumphs on the field as a Tiger is something nobody can ever take away from him. Hope I get to meet him someday.

He was the NFL as well

Who is judging him? I think him being front man for restaurant would be a good idea.

I agree. If I was Les I would be in communication with Rohan an getting him on staff. Whatever it takes I'd want Rohan working with the Qb's an talking to the players. Get some former players in the system who know what playing at LSU is like.

I worked at UPS in Port Allen while I was at LSU in the early to mid 90's with Bo Davis (former LSU nose guard and Saban asst/recently hired at Texas) he was a nut, crazy driver in the UPS trucks on Saturday (we were both part time pre-load workers that would also drive part time to deliver next day air packages).

This is the shift (early am) that I'm sure Rohan is working as Jarvis Green's godfather is still a supervisor there and he has a good relationship with the athletic dept.

Richard Krejewski (former Dale Brown import) worked there for a while too while I was there.

I hope you are not taking my post to indicate that I'm ragging on Rohan. Just the opposite. I think Rohan is there because he's friends with the owner of the store, and they are experimenting with getting something off the ground. The main reason for my post is that I met him, he's a very nice person, and if anyone wanted an opportunity to meet him as well, just go over to that store.

I had a buddy who used to live next to Rohan out in Tigerland back when he first got married. He always talked about how great that guy's Jerked Chicken was. That makes this believable for me.

HaHaHa, Please tell me this was a funny joke.

From the last thread days before yours I was interested to hear that Rohan worked at UPS. Then I saw your post that he was making Jerk Chicken. Both are a far cry from what I thought he'd be doing (living in MIA with other Jamaican expats). So I thought it was an inside tiger rant joke.

Dude, I will punch you in the face if you talk about the Rohan like that again. Nobody, and I mean nobody, direspects Rohan and gets away with it
