Well I looked at the other thread. Someone said he had two jobs and lived in Camelot (off Harrells Ferry) so I guess it's possible that he was making jerk chicken.
So you guess it is possible. Maybe you should have done your bit of research before making your "Is this a running joke" post. You think someone's going to just right a story up about chatting with the man for the hell of it? I tell you what you do. Go there tomorrow and see for yourself. Then come back and write a post on it.

Wasn't he doing some coaching at Universty High a couple of years ago? Thought he was working at UPS in Port Allen and had another job in B R - which could be the chicken jerky gig.
He told me he was playing in Europe for Berlin Thunder until that league shut down. He also said he has some activity with the LSU program still, but didn't elaborate on that.

BTRDD,
You really got bent out of shape unnecessarily. I only occasionally look on the rant and Rohan was one of my fav players. From the last thread days before yours I was interested to hear that Rohan worked at UPS. Then I saw your post that he was making Jerk Chicken. Both are a far cry from what I thought he'd be doing (living in MIA with other Jamaican expats). So I thought it was an inside tiger rant joke.
I'm terribly sorry for the misunderstanding.
Suck my balls,
Camp

LSU v Tennessee 2000
Gutsiest performance I ever saw.

You know, I'd doubt you story but I had a buddy who used to live next to Rohan out in Tigerland back when he first got married.
He always talked about how great that guy's Jerked Chicken was. That makes this believable for me.

Careful, you might get an overly spirited e-response. Let it go man.

Big Ro wasn't super high on practice and conditioning not sure how he'd fare as a coach Still easily one of my top favorites of all time.

Agreed. That offense in 2001 with him, Josh Reed, and Michael Clayton. Damn they were fun to watch

He was a warrior!
Seems like at least a few times each game, there would be 1 or 2 linebackers and linemen hanging onto his legs while he just stood there and rifled a pass for a 3rd and long completion...now the years may have clouded reality a bit....but...

I see Josh Reed at Santa Maria pretty often in the summer. I'm tempted to take my LSU helmet and get Josh and now Rohan (either at UPS or the Jerk chicken place) to sign it. They were an unbelievable duo back then.

You nailed it. Rohan to Reed!

Guy had the coolest, smoothest throwing motion I have ever seen.

I don't know how smart Rohan is, or if he has a degree yet, but I have to think he'd make a hell of a football coach.
He at one time was doing something with the University High football team.

There's a convenience store in front of my neighborhood on South Harrell's Ferry road called Adams.
That's where all the local high school kids get their booze.

This. It seemed to be all in his wrist.
