There's a convenience store in front of my neighborhood on South Harrell's Ferry road called Adams. I took a walk there today to get some jerked chicken for lunch (it's pretty freaken good). To my surprise, Rohan Davey is the one cooking it. This guy broke into a conversation with me and we talked LSU, yesterday's recruiting and his Pro career and lots of other things.

I tell you what, Rohan is a super nice person, I'd recommend that if any of you are passing in that area, stop and get a plate lunch and some interesting chat.

Is he as good a cook as he was a QB?

What's he doing cooking jerked chicken?

Seems like someone would give him a better job than that.

Honestly, it's a close call.

Is this a running joke? The other day he was working for UPS in Port Allen.

He's a multi-tasker.

Dude is pulling a check throwing boxes, taking cash for Rohan's Jerk Chicken and hell who knows what else. Bartending at Fred's next?

Well I looked at the other thread. Someone said he had two jobs and lived in Camelot (off Harrells Ferry) so I guess it's possible that he was making jerk chicken.

I don't know how smart Rohan is, or if he has a degree yet, but I have to think he'd make a hell of a football coach. He's not only extremely personable and engaging, which are qualities I'd look for in a recruiter, but he is a proven leader. The way he rallied the 2000 Peach Bowl team and the 2001 team around him was nothing short of amazing. Those teams would have run through a brick wall for Rohan.

It's also clear he loves LSU with all his heart.

If I were Les, there would be a standing offer for Rohan to be a GA on my staff (pending his graduation).

Why do Wisconsinites suffer from pessimism, paranoia and elitism? Believe what you want.

good point. Reading the fighting tigers 1995-2007 edition I think

Saban says that when the players on the team were affected by Rohan, they were 100% in. If Rohan didn't get them up for a week or whatever, the team wasn't very good.

Sabans words not mine

Wasn't he doing some coaching at Universty High a couple of years ago? Thought he was working at UPS in Port Allen and had another job in B R - which could be the chicken jerky gig.
