Unfortunately, I believe this is correct. Wish he would play but also hope we beat them with him out. No way the SEC backs down now.

Glad that the light is finally shining on the Bama mafia and hopefully things change with the SEC as well as the stupid targeting rule.

5-d chess by the fan base

LSU wins, we beat them and we did not even have our best player for half the game. Bama does not deserve to be in the playoff.

LSU loses by say 6 or less, narrative we lost because we did not have our best player. Narrative we played more ranked teams than anyone and barely lost to Bama because we did not have our best player. We are better than these other teams, give us a shot with our best player.

LSU loses by more than 6, finish the year strong and get a New Year’s Day bowl. Set up for a run next year.

All scenarios based on national media the targeting rule gets re-evaluated at the end of the season.

Bama bias has been spoken by national media. Maybe a rising tide of backlash inside the conference.

Already a great season for the Tigers.

They should. I really think if you have a lot of people saying how ridiculous his call was, it may get the NCAA involved finally. You can’t mess with the integrity of the game. If it keeps getting rehashed it will make the NCAA move. Question yourself.

Why was that call made at that moment in the game? Why were there two other penalties assessed at that time? What was the initial result of the play? How often do you see 45 penalty yards assessed in one play against one team and reverse possession of the ball while ejecting a player?

If you look at that with honest eyes you’ll see that no other team has ever been penalized on one play like that without there being an outright fight among teams in one play.

Yep...however long Alabama's season is this year this stuff will follow them till the end. That is the second best part... Actually, the best part is the uniting and firing up of players and fans around this White travesty. The glaring spotlight on SEC officiating will finally give us a chance at a fairly called game and win..

I have a question - have you actual read the 2018 version of the targeting rule when applied vs. a defenseless player? Do i think White intended to target? No. Do I think he lead with his helmet? No. He lead with his hands but his momentum caused his face mask to hit the QB's helmet. The problem is, the freaking rule makes it targeting to hit a quarterback in the head or neck with your hand, forearm, elbow, shoulder or any part of your helmet if he is throwing or has just thrown the ball. Had white bent his knees when he made contact so that his face mask hit the QB in the chest, it'd been a legal hit. How is this Bama's fault? I see a lot of posts that Bama is behind this. But so far I have not seen any evidence - just conjecture. Marcus Spears said that the targeting call was correct because of how the rule is worded. Who on here thinks he is part of some conspiracy? The real problem is that the rule is crap. Its a step towards flag football.

There was an effort before the season began to get the NCAA to change the targeting rule to be more in line with the NFL version. This was because the way the NCAA version is, its too easy to get flagged for targeting while tackling a QB but the NCAA refused. They wanted the rule just like it is to get defenders to avoid contact with the head and neck areas of a so-called defenseless player. So I doubt the NCAA will make any changes, at least not before the end of the season. I remember when the targeting rule first came out. They wanted the refs to flag targeting if it COULD BE targeting. Then a review could reverse the ejection of the player if video evidence proved it wasn't targeting. But back then, the team flagged still got the 15 yard penalty even when the review had video evidence that it wasn't targeting. I think Targeting us the NCAA's pet rule.

And yet LSU is still going to beat Alabama! I have the same feeling about this as I did that Cole Tracy would hit a game-winning FG vs Auburn and that we'd beat UGA.

We are going to win despite his 1st half suspension! Mark these words. My gut is seldom wrong when it feels like this.

None of you cheating, arrogant $abama fans deserve to post on TigerDroppings. Go away and stay away. The corruption between Alabama and the SEC office in Birmingham is patently obvious to any objective person who loves college football, and y'all are a disgrace to the game. You have the best coach and players money can buy, but you still cheat the system just to make sure you win.

The long list of critically-timed bad calls by referees, recruiting scams allowed, criminal activity of student athletes condoned that surrounds Alabama football is just pathetic.

Y'all think it can all be rationalized because you win most all of the time. Well, have at it, but don't come on this site trying to get us to buy into your excuses and image polishing. Cheaters eventually get the respect they deserve, and it's starting to catch up with the dirty Tide.

No it's not Bama's fault that the SEC office is in the state and most of the employees are residents and many are graduates of the University. You must have seen some of the many post on here showing pictures and evidence of the biased officiating.
