re: Which Ranters Attended the LSU vs ND game in 1998? - CEOTiger
I was living in Chicago at the time and went to the game with a die hard domer. We had a blast. The lead changed hands many times, and it was a very exciting game. My domer friend was depressed several times in the game, especially during the third quarter when LSU was having its way with the Iri...

re: LSU player you remember for 'that one play' - CEOTiger
George Bevan...middle linebacker who played lights out again Auburn in the 1969 game. When Auburn scored in the fourth quarter, it looked like they were going to tie the game. Then Bevan blocked the extra point to preserve a 21-20 LSU victory. I thought Tiger Stadium was going to explode when ...

re: Lindsey Scott narrows choices to two schools - LSU and Maryland - CEOTiger
The crime in College Park, MD and around the U of Maryland campus is horrible. The son of my best friend wrestled there a few years ago, and he said he frequently heard gunfire, and had two scooters and a car stolen while a student. He's not a young man who has ever been in trouble or looking for ...

re: Watching the Tigers while in Savannah, Ga. - CEOTiger
Just in the process of moving to Savannah, however I will not be in town for this week's game. In the future, I would be very interested in joining any Tiger fan in Savannah to watch a game. The Crystal Beer Palace on Jefferson would be a good spot. Had an LSU banner on my home for the Syracuse g...

re: Brief Wisco Breakdown - CEOTiger
Wisky looks pretty good against the mediocre competition featured in these highlight reels, but the real question is will they complete these play action passes against DBU and will they run through the tackles of the LSU front 7. We will see. I lived in Madison for 5 years, including the all Ro...

re: New Bonstonker Video - Invincible - CEOTiger
This video literally chokes me up...GREAT stuff! We had so much talent on the offense last year. Landry, OBJ, Mett, Magee, Hill...just WOW! Of all of those, Jarvis Landry is my favorite. He was the ultimate 3rd down machine last season. So much heart, so much talent, so much desire. If I wer...

re: Where to watch an LSU game around the world - CEOTiger
Shanghai, China LSUME86 I'm also looking for a place to watch the LSU/UW game in Shanghai. The Grand Hyatt only has the european version of ESPN, and they are not broadcasting the game. Please post a spot if/when you find one, and I'll do the same. Watching live on Sunday morning at 7 am cert...

re: Ethan Pocic commits to LSU - CEOTiger
Les is building a stable of horses for Fournette to run behind in a couple of years. I'm not sure about the batting order, but Collins, Alexander, Pocic, etc. have the potential to be punshing run blockers...even in the SEC....

re: Are Gumps too stupid to fear LSU? - CEOTiger
I have watched the 2011 LSU/Alabama game 4 times since November 5th. If you ignore the score and watch what actually happened on the field, it appears to me that these two teams are close to even. Either could beat each other on any given day. A turnover here, big play there will be the differenc...

re: What are 6, 7, 11, 7, 10, 6, 3, 10 ? - CEOTiger
Many contributing factors to this amazing statistic. One aspect is our ability to run down players after a jail break play. In other games, the opponent scores. Against LSU, Simon (vs Arky), HB, RS10 (on a return) or MoC runs them down from behind and we hold the team to a FG or less. It has hap...

Here's an interesting bit of second guessing history...from Rivals - CEOTiger
What if … Four years ago, The Dash witnessed one of the biggest upsets in recent college football history: Pittsburgh 13, West Virginia 9. The Panthers had a losing record. The Mountaineers needed only to win to play in the BCS Championship Game. They were favored by a whopping 29 points. But f...

re: "Tale of the Tape" on ESPNU - CEOTiger
The "experts" said LSU being rated in the top 5 preseason was laughable. The experts said we have no QB, our schedule was too brutal and Miles is a joke. They gave us no chance at Alabama. Oregon was thought to be too fast and high tech for us. They called Moo State a trap game...same for the Te...
