re: Has anyone here used the AncestryDNA test? - montrose
You can also download your test results and run this Promethease report that will compare your genes to a database of medications, diseases, etc. and you will be amazed at what it will tell about your health and the probabilities of you having certain allergies, cancer, diseases and other conditions...

re: Has anyone here used the AncestryDNA test? - montrose
I have done it and it is a help in verifying your family tree. Their system checks your family tree against your matches to identify common ancestors. I've fooled with it for several years along with other services and it can be fairly accurate for what it does....

re: Internet for out in the boonies - montrose
ETA, I may even check out Sprint or T-Mobile plans too
If you have Sprint lte in the area they have a 30 GB + 10GB shared plan for $110 on a Hotspot. I have it and it works OK but don't expect to stream a lot of Movies. One LSU baseball game eats 6-7 Gb. So you would be lucky to se...

re: Who else saw the chin taunt gesture Gideon did after he touched home last night? - montrose
When a base runner slides headfirst into second and over the bag and hits the SS in the knee with his head who is applying the tag....that's kneeing hm?
I guess you didn't see him trying to knee the kid that hit the bag face first off the bag. Why wouldn't he be to the inside of th...

re: Can I hookup a 4GLTE Air Card to a older Desktop w/o wifi capability? - montrose
I don't know but I would check out netgear support and FAQ's on their website or give them a call to see if it could be done with your router. They had instructions on how to hook mine up to the aircard. You might check the owners manuel also to see if it can be done. I would think you could if your...

re: Ancestry DNA Testing - montrose
So what makes one company better than the other (Ancestry DNA vs 23andnme or whoever else does this)?
I like Family Tree DNA (FTDNA) for YDNA testing which traces male linage because of their databases and their surname and haplogroup projects. They are all about the same for autos...

re: The Alabama officiating bias is real - Alleva?? - montrose
It's not the number of calls made, it's the calls made at critical times in a game. Remember Patrick Peterson's "non-interception" a few years ago? How about Saturday night's punt that "crossed the goal line" call made by a ref on the far sideline. He makes the call from behind two LSU player...

re: Ritters Crew = automatic Alabama victory - montrose
Saw the replay on CBS, it clearly did not cross the goal line. Ref within a few yds didn't signal anything, the ref much farther way made bad the call.
They showed it a couple of times and went to a advertisement and came back and showed it again and mentioned it should be reviewed...

re: Any Virgin Mobile Users - montrose
I use them and they work on the sprint network. It's OK on major Highways and Larger cities. I would check coverage where you plan on using it the most. If you happen to go over your plan minutes for the month you can restart your plan. If you need a referral post an email and I'll send a link to y...

re: Central AC is leaking freon... - montrose
I had a new Goodman do the same thing. It was leaking from the inside coil. It was hell to find but the repairman told me that they had to replace about half of the inside coils on their installs. So it's not new and there may be some kind of warranty on it if that's the problem....

re: Tankless water heater questions... - montrose
Mine gives a 2.1 Gpm 90 degree rise and 4.1 GPM 45 degree rise and I think you want at least that. I notice there's one for 950 that's hydro-generated ignition that gives that but don't know how well this water flow ignition system works....
