Brees got better when Cameron left. Think of Cameron and what he has done. He was unsuccessful at San Diego, Baltimore fired him mid season, failed miserably in Miami and coached Indiana.

He has a job at LSU because of his friend.

And the definition of dual threat qb is inaccurate passer and better runner. There are many more failures at dual threat throwing than there are successful and accurate ones.

Stopped reading here.

Cameron was in San Diego longer than Brees was.

Then the opposite genius, Brees improved when he left the tutelage of Cameron.

P. Rivers: Pro Bowl 1st season as a starter.

D. Brees: Pro Bowl 3rd season as a starter, 3rd highest QB rating of his career.

2004 Chargers: scored 3rd highest points in NFL that season, 3rd most in team history.
2005: 5th highest Average PPG in NFL that season.
2006 Chargers: 21st highest scoring offenses in NFL history, 14th highest over last 25 years.

I'm sure that had nothing to do with going from having LaDainian Tomlinson at RB to having Reggie Bush

the problem is not can he develop one, is are we recruiting one?

Jennings is NOT a "dual threat QB". And he can barely pass, so he's not even a pocket QB. We haven't seen enough from Harris to know if he could be a dual threat, because that requires him to read defenses better, so the Jury's still out on him.

Our larger problem is that our offense does not fit the skill sets of the players we are recruiting.

Can Cam develop a Dual Threat QB? quote: No, it's just that Richt has a better eye for QB talent than Les does. He can evaluate high school QB talent and convince them to go to Athens. Miles has trouble projecting talent at the qb position, but its not like he hasnt gotten 4 star/elite 11 qbs. Rettig was the 3rd rated prostyle qb in 2013. Jennings was the 6th rated DT qb in 2013.

And what have those QBs done....Rettig couldn't beat out the current guys and transferred. Like I said "evaluate". Just because they have stars doesn't mean it translates to production on the field

Mett was going to go to UGA no matter who the coach was. His parents are affiliated with the program

Nice try....we are all aware his mother worked for UGA. Guy still coulda gone somewhere else. And what about David Greene, Matt Stafford, DJ Shockley, and Aaron Murray? Were those all lucky? Did their parents work at UGA too? No, it shows that he can evaluate, and make them show up to play.

I'm not ready to dump on Cam yet, it's only been 2 years. But I'm not impressed with Les' evaluation skills.
