Obviously, LSU is and should be favored in this game. Having watched Etling play since he was in HS, stopping your offense will come down to keeping the ball in his hands.

Etling will be fine in our O as long as our OL keeps him protected... that goes for any game this year. I think you're underestimating him a bit.

Y'all are aware that this was the very first practice of SPRING camp right? The vids out of fall camp are much more crisp of course. At that point in his vid LSU hasdn't played together in over 3 months so of course there was some rust to knock off. If y'all think we haven't improved you will be very surprised. Can't wait for this season to kick off.

Who else we got besides Guice at a skill position that you want to call "great?" Etling? Chark? (maybe)

All the bashing of Mormons is definitely uncalled for. Let's try to keep the conversation on football.

I do have a question, however. We've all read reports recently about some rather dubious on the field actions (cheap shots) by BYU players. Do you see those sort of incidents continuing this year, or has that behavior been addressed and disciplined?

Addressed and disciplined. That was from a couple years back, from guys who have since moved on. Cheap-shots are never justified. Saying that, most of the shots were in childish immature retaliation to goading and shots taken that weren't caught (often the case, as anyone that has been involved in such things knows).

FWIW LSU players could try to religion-bait the BYU players as a way to get into their head. Schools like Memphis, Utah, etc have successfully used that, and graphic sexual profanity when referring to their family members, in baiting them.

I agree dukke. I also think BYU will be ready to play. LSU could very well blow them out of the stadium, but I personally think BYU will give us a good game.

I am curious. Do all BYU players have to go on mission or is it only the practicing Mormons?

Missions are completely voluntary. Many players at BYU are not Mormon, as well. I estimate that about half their players go on missions.

Dude, you're the warm up game for Chattanooga. We don't need to know more than that about BYU.

You sound just like the lsu fan screaming at all the Wisky fans in the bathroom before the game last year. I thought to myself, it's going to be a tuff trip home for you if we lose.
