You seem to be a person of below average intelligence.

He literally said all the things you would want to hear from a rookie quarterback. I'm sure Ryan Tannehill, RGIII, and Andrew Luck will all say similar things this offseason. Being a quarterback is now JJ's full time job, if he doesn't go in with the attitude that he's going to have to work his tail off to even have a chance at making it work, he's already failed.

"'There's a lot you have to learn to become a good quarterback, but I'm willing to put in the work and the time to get myself in that position,' Jefferson said. 'There's different terminology, a different style of player. You've got to be under center more here and you've got 14-year veterans that have been studying the game for a long time and you're just coming out of college.

So, there's a lot you have to learn before you get to the level where you're successful like a Peyton Manning or an Eli or Dan Marino, you have to do a lot before you can get to that stage.'"

Damn I don't see anything wrong with what he said. Should he take the Jamarcus approach and not work hard, be lazy, just take the money, etc. Why are people bashing the guy.

He signed a nice contract around 400k/yr, so relatively speaking that would make ffhouston just about worthless.

Give him a break. He's in the NFL now, which is more than a lot of people can say. Plus he's a former Tiger. Are you sure you aren't a Bama fan trying to run off recruits?

This is the first time that JJ has said something that I agree with.

The alters have been doing just this since Bama was named a participant in the Mulligan Bowl.

JJ has done enough to run off recruits on his own.
Let's move on...
The nightmare is over.

I'll just say that I'm very amused at all of the misdirected anger in this thread and leave it at that.

I hear you JJ. You will never be one of these guys unfortunately! Glad he isn't in an LSU uniform.

Yes, of course.

i don't think you understand what he's saying. Perhaps he should strive to reach the level of Ryan Leaf or Danny Wuerffel

The guy is trying to be the best QB he can be. He isn't saying he is those guys. What examples do you want him to give? Colt McCoy, Bobby Hebert and David Garrard?

Hot Carl scares me.

ffhouston, if you do take Hot Carl's advice and lets say you jump from a building. Make damn sure you leave a fricking note so no one can use the "you got pushed" card.

I for one who have been very critical of JJ and his attitude and performance really dont care either way how he does but I dont wish him ill in Tampa.

As far as recruiting goes I would think him throwing Les under the bus would hurt recruiting more than anything said on a rant board.

Also him throwing Les under the bus tells you more about JJ's character and dedication than anything. I mean who ever did more for JJ than Les Miles?

How dare he talk about wanting to learn, work hard, etc. He should have said he'll be lazy, get fat, not go to practice or study film. I don't know what they expect him to say.
