Yeah I'm no draft scout but his mechanics look terrible to me.

He has an arm and size though and from the short sample size we've seen appears to be good under pressure.

I don't t think it is obsession with him per se, I think it is everyone wondering where our next "Mett" is coming from since it won't be from our house

Nobody has a presser to come back. Cardale is gone and its the right decision. He's still #2 behind Barrett, who is younger than him. If he comes back, he may never play again. His stock will never be higher.

If I'm Braxton Miller, I'm not too sure this affects my decision. I'd leave, period. Same as Cardale, really...he was the starter, but he won't be next year. He's also got a free pass to go anywhere in the country he can actually play. Its a no-brainer. Ohio State gonna need QBs real quick.

I've seen multiple media outlets report that he is considering transferring and that LSU or Oregon (and one guy also mentioned FSU) are his likely destinations.

Did you even watch their last 2 games? Guy has the strongest arm in college football and just needs some polish. Somebody with an older QB will pick him and work with him to get him ready.

So you guys think that a guy who Meyer designated as 3rd string at Ohio St will be drafted in a position to start in NFL. I doubt it. He throws with both feet planted and runs at will over small and slow college linemen, linebacker and dbs compared to the pros. I believe that he will get drafted but he is more of a project than starter.

That's what everyone is saying. That, plus the best thing for Cardale is obviously to get paid while developing (i.e., in the NFL instead of Ohio State).

No one said this.

That's not what should drive his decision. His marketability is about as high as it's going to get. Now is a good time to go. His body is NFL-ready.

Sure he could use more experience, but there's no guarantee he'd even see action next year.

Best to declare for the draft now.

I want Golson and I will say this until it is official that he isn't coming here. People are so against his turnovers instead of looking at the games to realize one, he was asked to do too much, two, half of the ints were dropped or tipped passes, and three his OL was complete garbage which caused a lot of fumbling problems when he tried to make an escape.

We've got people yelling about not having a passing game, yet dying over a running QB who has never passed for 2100 yards in a single season against crap competition. We've got people yelling over a guy who had to have shoulder surgery on the same shoulder twice in a few months (one he was just passing the ball in practice). We've got people yelling about a guy who has never played in a anywhere close to a pro style offense. We have people yelling about a guy who might not be able throw until August.

Golson is healthy, he's helped his team to a national championship as a redshirt freshman (2700 total yards 18 TDs), he has been a high volume passer (427 60% passes 3445 pass yards 29 pass TDs in 2014), and he is expected to graduate in May. That gives him all summer to throw around with the guys.

People still thinking Braxton Miller is coming to LSU are likely the same adults who believe in Santa Clause, think Elvis is alive, President Bush blew up the levees and 9/11 was an inside job.

If Cardale is leaving, could it hint that Braxton is staying?

Golson

Different situation. He graduates in May. He wouldn't be able to participate in spring practice. He also said reports of transfer were, and I quote, "premature."

Miller, on the other hand, has graduated already. He literally has a free pass to play at any program ala Russell Wilson. He could enroll in a master's program this semester and participate in spring practice. He'd be stupid not to take that opportunity.

I'm not saying he'll go to LSU, but Miller will *probably* leave Ohio State for another college.

You go to school to make $$$. Take the money now, you can always go back to school to finish your degree. Sitting behind JT won't do him any good

I don't think he leaves OSU. could be wrong.
his shoulder is probably destroyed and he never had a great arm anyways.
