Correct.

The rule states that the Capital One Bowl must select the SEC runner-up, unless another team is within one loss. If the Capital One Bowl does not chose the runner-up, then the Cotton or the Outback must pick them.

UGA can't fall farther than the Outback Bowl.

Worst case for LSU: we fall to the Gator or CFA Bowls.

Thanks, I knew there was some new rule about that implemented in 2006

If LSU doesn't get a BCS bowl, I wouldn't mind the Gator Bowl. Tired of playing in the same bowls all the time (Cotton, Chick-fil-a).
