I'm still waiting for your explanation on how LSU ended up in the Peach Bowl in 2005.

LSU vs USC in Rose is impossible:

The only way USC would make the Rose is by winning the Pac12 CG, and therefore it would be USC vs Big10 champ.

If USC doesn't win the Pac12 CG, they will not be BCS-eligible.

If LSU goes to Rose, it will be against the Big10 champion (Wisconsin/Nebraska/Michigan).

LSU is a national brand and will get selected over ATM. No doubt.

The problem in all of this is, the bowl committees don't always stick to the proper slotting/seeding. Carolina is always loved because if thenumbers they bring

They would show up in force if they got their first BCS bowl bid and the Sugar would be excited to take them, a la Arky in 2010. I think it's a moot point though because the SEC Champ would have to go to the BCSNCG for this scenario to take place.

My guess:
Bama to Sugar
LSU to Fiesta
UF to CapOne
A&M to Cotton
SC to Outback
UGA to Chick-fil-a

my prediction:

Bama to Sugar
LSU to Fiesta
UGA to CapOne
A&M to Cotton
UF to Outback
USC to CFA or Gator

it would be agains SEC rules for 2-loss Georgia to fall from SECCG to CFA, I believe.

But they DON'T have JOHNNY FOOTBALL. The DUDE is unreal as far as bowl games go.Ratings wise. LSU has NO such player. Just sayin.

I agree and that's why I put LSU in there. I edited because "coin-flip" probably wasn't the best way to put it, but I do think A&M will be considered.

Come to think of it, that could throw a wrench into our plans as well since it would likely mean a one loss Oregon is in the at large pool.

Note on TV ratings: LSU played in college football's highest rated game of the 2011 and 2012 seasons.

Yes, they put in some new caveat after that happenned to LSU in 2005.

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure there was some new rule put in place to prevent the SECCG loser from falling so far.

Yep, fiesta would have to pick either Oregon or LSU...Then Sugar would take whoever is left to play Bama. If Fiesta and Sugar both passed on LSU in that situation (unlikely), then lSU would play FSU in the Orange.

LINK??? I have NO problem with LSU going to any bowl. BOTTOM LINE is a Johnny Football team in A & M is a much better draw on New years Day and beyond.Plus They BEAT Bama AT Bama. That means alot.

Regardless, I still don't see UGA falling to CFA with a loss to Bama.

I've got Bama-Sugar, LSU-Fiesta, UGA-Cap1, Florida-Outback, USCe-Gator/CFA, A&M-Cotton

Multiple Aggie alumni since last night's win over Bama have told me how much they wish the Aggies were playing Texas this year. It's probably hard for LSU fans to imagine but I wonder if most Aggie fans might rather play Texas in Jerry World than going to Fiesta Bowl to play someone else.

I'd be curious to hear what most Aggie fans (even secretly) would wish for between those two choices.
