I am from Lafayette and went to both schools. I support both the Tigers and the Cajuns. It is possible. The hatred between certain sections of both fan bases baffles me.

Mattwells90, you and I seem to have a lot in common. We are both avid supporters of LSU and ULL. It's great to see another like minded person on this board.

That's pretty funny, ESPN was showing the ULL Cajuns/Baylor softball game. The Cajuns had the bases loaded in a tie game and they switched to LSU/Nebraska pregame

On to the OP, it is funny because most of the SID's in the state are pretty good friends with each other and do little jabs to each other quite often.

Cajuns just trying to get an identity and not be grouped as a 2nd tier athletic school in the state. Can't be mad at them nothing they said there is false. They are the only one in state with 4 straight bowl wins currently.
Bonnette said what everyone else is thinking but the fact of the matter is that it bothers us that we lost to ND and Clemson and Alabama in these bowl games when Les use to be unbeatable in bowl games.
Cajuns know if they go by the numbers they aren't number 1 in the state they just want to be a clear number 2. Can't fault them
