Said the sideline looked like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off. Compared Miles to Sean Peyton saying that he never worries about Peyton getting out-coached but can't say the same for Miles...WOW. I mean he's dead on..but you can tell he thinks Miles is an idiot...

Did he notice how many times his son got "blown up" during the game? I counted more than 10.

Important because he's not just an analyst, but a parent to one of the players on the team.

This is a great point...He's not the only players parent that knows a little bit about the game! Other parents may take a hard look before advising their kids that a program that looked like that on nat'l tv is where their kid should be

so what you are saying that any time a team loses its coaching. That with a "better" coach the Saints would have gone 32-0 that last 2 years.

no but how quickly one forgets that during those two seasons the Saints lost to a winless Rams team, got spanked actually. Who was coaching that Rams team btw? Got out-coached vs the Skins one year as well. Point being all coaches get out-coached

ESPN should have shown video of his son being put on his back, and asked him about T-Bob not doing his job...

i'm saying a better coach at that time would not have made some of those insanely risky play calls the ends of games when the Saints had the lead.

But, Payton seemed to have learned from that shite, and has stressed the presence of a traditional power running game to give his system some balance this year.

But, Hebert's comments are very, very troublesome.....mainly b.c they are accurate in regards to LSU, and b/c he has a better feel on the pulse of the team than most pundits with his son being a contributor on the squad.

the same guy that won the Saints first ever Playoff game without his #1 QB, RB or WR? Or Scott Linehan

you seem to be equating losing a game to getting outcoached.

Certainly all coaches make mistakes and will of course make decisions that don't work out. Its much easier to coach with 20/20 hindsight.
