Most people remember that LSU’s Les Miles is a “Michigan man,” playing offensive line for the Wolverines in the mid-'70s.

And most people also recall that before landing the coveted LSU job in 2005, Miles led Oklahoma State to a 28-21 mark from 2001-03.

What did he do before that?

How about coach tight ends for the Dallas Cowboys from 1998-2000, in the Chan Gailey/Dave Campo era?

This brief stint, combined with Miles’ 103-29 run at LSU, makes him ripe for the picking by an NFL club. That is, if he chooses to go.

Miles, like Carroll and Mora, is a defensive guy. He’s never had a sexy, high-powered offense in his head coaching career.

Optimus Miles is the best coach in LSU history and any team would be lucky to have him
If he went to nfl I bet he'd win four Super Bowls in a row
He's that great
Glad he's a tiger!!!!

Other than his nine seasons at USC, Pete Carroll has been in the NFL since 1984

Let's be honest about this one. This article is wrong on so many levels, but who begins to be courted to the NFL at 62 is the better question?

True story ours is about the only offense he's had a hand in stopping

In an article filled with fail, this quote could be the winner. His entire career has been spent on the offensive side of the ball and has a reputation of letting his defensive coordinators do their thing and not meddling.
