Next week Tennessee and Kentucky will be higher “bracketology” seeds than us. We beat them both and nobody has a better conference record. Why are we still the third best team?

Reputation bias. We just need to grow a big chip on our shoulder and play our asses off.

PS ...we can beat any team in the nation.

This.

LSU got better today. Having other guys step up when our two best talents are not there or minimized.

This is the best thing that can happen this time of year. We are more we’ll rounded for it.

Watching Smart isolate and take it to the rack multiple times was jaw dropping.

Keep doing it. Then when Nazs defender helps, dish and dunk. This really opens the offense more.

Losing to a sub par bubble team in Florida at home may be the answer?

Which level you want this? I'll go with 3rd grade.

UT and UK started prior to this season as favorites to win the SEC. This is called bias.

UT won SEC last season and UK is a blue blood - a term generally used for a long standing successful program. This is also attracts bias.

LSU is known for individual basketball players, but not necessarily ultimate team success. LSU has made 3 Final Fours since 1981 without a championship game appearance. LSU won 10 games total 2 years ago. Bias.

LSU's coach is 36 years old, into his second year. The team is young and relatively unknown. Bias.

In a vacuum, LSU is a 2 seed right now and highest SEC seed. Unfortunately, it's not a vacuum and bias exists.

Losing to OKSt plus Arky and UF at home is why we are looking up.

Win next four and we will overtake Tenn and get into top 8.

UK is playing at a higher level since losing to LSU. I expect them to sweep TN

We lose to bad teams. They don’t.

They beat better teams in non conference. We beat no one in non conference.

They both have significantly better non-conference resumes. UK beat UNC and KU. Tennessee beat Gonzaga and Louisville. They both have fewer losses than LSU and have absolutely beat down inferior opponents in the SEC. It’s not some conspiracy.

Yeah I’m not suggesting a conspiracy, just saying I think beating UK and TN should give us an edge considering our conference record. Agree they have better out of conference resume. Hope we pull off a 3 seed
