I hate the people who think they "need to see something." Ben Simmons is dominating college basketball and averages in 1 half what 95% of players average in 2 halves.

A lot of people think 30 points is better than 20 points no matter what. Fg percentage, rebounds, assists, defense means nothing to them. Lol. Simmons is lebron at 18 years old. He is actually better in some areas like rebounding and posting up (not the outside shooter bron was even at that age though)

4 losses already. That's the only number I'm concerned with.

Without a doubt he needs to score more from the post on this team. In the NBA he can be King Faciltator. But this year that's not in the best interest of LSU . Like what I saw too

He needs to help us win, I don't care if he puts up 40 10 10 or 15 5 5, he needs to help us win. Personally I Think he needs to take over and dominate but who knows.

Why? That's why I go to the games. I go to see the number one recruit play like the number one recruit. I want to "see something". That's why people go to games in the first place. They go to see the biggest stars preform no matter what the sport, Butt.

Him standing at the free throw line or outside the arc and passing it as soon as he touches it does nothing for this team. We have enough guards. With his poor outside shooting, he has to have a presence inside if this team is going to be sucessful. If he posts up down low its basically an automatic 2 points or a trip to the free throw line.

No, that's why YOU go...don't associate yourself with fans who want to see LSU win. I knew this would happen this year because of Ben and I prepared thyself. But we got off to a bad start and everybody is freaking out. There have never been this many basketball posts before, and it's because of Ben. But bottomline, it's about LSU winning, not Ben Simmons.

But therein lies the problems. I constantly hear that he "isn't doing enough" because he can't shoot 3's. If you know you have a weakness, you practice over and over and over...the game is not practice. He works his arse at practice shooting, but you don't waste possessions in the game.

Lastly, he's averaging 19ppg, 14rpg, 6apg, 2spg while shooting 55%. Every game he plays like the best player in the country, so those of you who need to "see something", you're seeing it, you just may be too dumb and miss it.

You're an idiot. No matter what sporting event you attend you go to that event to see the stars preform like stars and to see your team win.

Well, you just said stars perform, nothing about LSU winning. On top of the fact, how is Ben Simmons not performing? He is. So I can be an idiot, but I'm right.

And if it's all about stars, why do the fans cheer so loud for Shortess, Eddlestone, and Darcy?

This is exactly right. Fundementals and team chemistry have been the reason for the losses. Even with those starters out. Hopefully these guys gel because the talent level on this lsu roster rivals any other team pretty much

I agree with all that. With out an outside shot he doesn't do a lot of good hanging around the arc., He needs to be in the paint getting rebounds and putting the ball in the basket.

He really needs to work on his shooting to make it in the NBA, but for right now he just needs to score points and collect rebounds and let the guards distribute the ball.

WOW....Valentine from Michigan St. Is playing better than Simmons is right now... IF he was as good as you sa LSU would not be at 6-4 right now... GREAT players take over games.. Except for his 43 point game, I have seen better players so far this year.. I know you are a homer and LSU doesn't hardly ever get a player of this quality, you are going overboard right now............ He IS very good, but is NOT dominating college bball right now... Let me see him get a triple -double against a decent team and then we can talk.........

Simmons is better than Valentine and will be the number 1 pick. Its not even close, just watch as he starts scoring more points to go with his 14 RBG and 6 APG and 3 BBG and steals. Skills are off the charts. And he is as good as Lebron was as a high school sr!!!

I don't care about him being the #1 pick. I care about what he does at LSU... Like I have said he is A really good player... But as of now he is not the best in the country....
