A lot more. But they'd have to get more security guards on game day because we live in a city with alcoholics.

A lot of them.

West Virginia serves alcohol for games

It's not an NCAA rule and not an sec rule

SEC officially maintains this beer policy: “No alcoholic beverages shall be sold or dispensed for public consumption anywhere in the facility and the possession and/or consumption of alcoholic beverages in the public areas of the facility shall be prohibited.

I didn't think the NCAA had anything to do with it. Still find it hard to believe that the SEC doesn't have a rule or else we would have seen a team needing more revenue in smaller sports selling it IMO.

They don't. Tulane sells beer at their games.

ETA: the SEC does ban alcohol in non-premium seating, which is why its available in the suites.

that serve beer and said recently LSU decided to allow beer sales???

that's not what he said

he said he "thinks" LSU serves beer, but he really didn't know. He just assumed it

but yes UT is seriously considering serving beer in at least baseball & basketball games in the very near future

If I were LSU, I'd only serve Natty Light in 12oz plastic cups at $10 a cup. How many people would buy what would be the biggest ripoff ever?

Youd make a fortune off the student section alone

I'm pretty sure they sell it in the suites. I heard they get away with it because its technically not connected to the stadium.
stupidest rumor ever. I heard someone say the same thing about the champions club at the box... How can you say that when the champions club is the whole first floor of the grandstand.

Have you ever been to an SEC championship game? Every concession stand has a big arse sign saying the SEC does not allow alcohol sales.

If they could, why the frick wouldn't schools exploit this cash cow.

We have it CSU, but they're so uptight it's almost pointless and it seems its a setup for busting underage drinking. I wish it would go away. You can't even compare with LSU though in the scope of the game day experience. I'd imagine total chaos

The SEC Board may not allow sales at the SECCgame. But they DO NOT ban the schools from doing it. The schools just dont.
